Red Line trains had been rerouted to elevated tracks Thursday after an individual was struck by a prepare within the Loop.

Trains had been halted about 4:17 p.m. close to the Harrison Street station as a result of an individual was hit by a prepare whereas on the platform, in response to Chicago Fire Department officers. Their age and situation is unknown.
