Senators’ Craig Anderson Denies Three Bruins Shot Attempts In Crazy Sequence

The Boston Bruins were hard-pressed for goals on Monday night against the Ottawa Senators.

The Senators took full advantage of the B’s sluggish performance, which in turn caused for Boston to be on the defense for much of the night.

The Bruins did have a tremendous chance to score in the first period, when Brad Marchand, Patrice Bergeron and David Backes got shots on net in a wild sequence. However, Senators netminder Craig Anderson remarkably turned away all the shot attempts, continuing Boston’s offensive frustrations.
