Small airplane lands on Glenview golf course after engine


A small airplane made an emergency touchdown Sunday at a golf course in north suburban Glenview.

The single-engine Cessna 150 landed shortly after 2:30 p.m. close to the 13th gap of the golf course at The Glen Club, 2901 W. Lake Ave. in Glenview, in accordance with Glenview police and the Federal Aviation Administration.

The emergency touchdown got here after the pilot reported engine hassle whereas en path to Chicago Executive Airport in Wheeling, in accordance with the FAA and police.

Police mentioned neither of the airplane’s two occupants was injured and the airplane was apparently “perfectly intact.”

The incident stays underneath investigation by the FAA.
