Alex Marquez (EG 0,0 Marc VDS) has gained some serious traction in 2017, taking a home win in Jerez before fighting for the same in Mugello, completing the podium. Arriving into his home Catalan GP, the ‘Pistolas’ had form at the track and the form bore fruit: looking like the man to beat from the start of the weekend, Marquez put it on pole and then shot away into the distance in a near-perfect Moto2™ masterclass. Clear by four seconds, the 2014 Moto3™ World Champion also made a big gain in the Championship - now just 20 points behind teammate Franco Morbidelli at the top. Source link

Xbox Unveils Porsche 911 GT2 RS, ‘Forza Motorsport 7’ During E3 2017
The fight to develop the best 4K sim racing game is officially in full swing. Xbox unveiled the 4K trailer for “Forza Motorsport 7” Sunday during its presentation at Electronic Entertainment Expo 2017. It also pulled the tarp off the highly anticipated Porsche 911 GT2 RS. Partnering with an automaker for E3 is nothing new for developer Turn 10 Studios. It revealed the Ford GT alongside “Forza Motorsport 6,” and the McLaren P1 with “Forza Motorsport 6.” It’s surprising that Turn 10 kept such a tight lid on “Forza 7,” as the game is slated for a fall release, and it’s main rivals have been heavily promoting their upcoming insta... Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s Bid For Pocono 400 Gets Off To Miserable Start
Share this: If Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s going to enter victory lane Sunday, he’s going to have to make up a lot of ground. That’s because Earnhardt blew the engine in his No. 88 Axalta Chevrolet at Pocono Raceway on Friday during practice for the Axalta presents the Pocono 400. The No. 88 team was forced to perform an engine swap, which means Earnhardt will start at the rear of the field in Sunday’s race. The incident reportedly occurred after just eight practice laps, and Earnhardt took full responsibility. Update on practice: I blew the motor up. Went into 2nd gear (was aiming for 4th) and grenaded it. Will have to start last Sunday. — Dale Earnhardt Jr. (@DaleJr) June 9, 2017 More about the dead engine.
F1 Driver Valtteri Bottas Rips Donuts In Montreal Canadiens’ Zamboni
Like all Formula One drivers, Valtterri Bottas is used to driving what essentially is a spaceship. Now, though, he can say he’s driven something that’s arguably much cooler. Bottas, who’s in Montreal for the F1 Canadian Grand Prix, took a pit stop Wednesday at the Montreal Canadiens’ training facility. While there, he hopped behind the wheel of one of the team’s zambonis, and you probably can guess what happened next. Those F1 drivers are just so predictable. Like everyone at Mercedes-AMG Petronas, Bottas has been looking up at Scuderia Ferrari for most of the 2017 season. But if he doesn’t visit victory lane Sunday, at least he sque... NESN.com
Cavs’ Locker Room Smelled Like Marijuana After Game 2 Loss, Reporters Say
Share this: The Cleveland Cavaliers probably were feeling pretty low after their 132-113 loss to the Golden State Warriors in Game 2 of the NBA Finals, but not everyone in their locker room was. Media who entered the Cavs’ locker room at Oracle Arena after Sunday night’s game reported smelling marijuana, though none claimed to know where exactly it came from. One of those reporters was The Undefeated’s Mike Wise, who acknowledged there were a lot of people in the locker room and it wasn’t necessarily a player. Cavs locker room has a strong reefer aroma to it tonight. Hey, it's Cali. You're down 2-0 and it's all about pain control. #NBAFinals — Mike Wise (@MikeWiseguy) June 5, 2017 To be clear, I don't know

To hear Farrell give his explanation for Kimbrel’s long outings, check out the video above from “NESN Sports Today,” presented by People’s United Bank. More Stories Source link
How Two Packers Fans Saved Davon House From Missing Green Bay’s OTAs
Share this: The Green Bay Packers are the only NFL team publicly owned by their fans, so it’s only fitting that two average Joes came to the rescue of one of their players. Newly acquired cornerback Davon House was headed to Green Bay for the start of Packers organized team activities Tuesday morning when his travel plans hit a snag: He missed his Monday night connection flight from Minneapolis to Green Bay, leaving him stranded in a different state on the eve of his report date. So, House did the only sensible thing: He tweeted about his conundrum. Any packer fans in Minnesota want to take a trip to Green Bay 😎 maybe I can hitch hike a ride 👍 — Davon House (@DavonHouse) June
