After the stunning first Grand Prix of the season in Qatar, a few of the premier class teams are now back on track in Andalusia for testing at the Circuito de Jerez. First of those were the Repsol Honda Team of Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa, with the duo working on Monday to prepare for the first race of the European leg of the season, which takes place at the venue in May. Repsol Honda were also one of few teams absent from the private Jerez test in November, having elected to use those days at a different time. Source link

Gronkowski, who has dealt with a hamstring injury since training camp, causes a stir any time he’s not on the field. Hightower, who suffered a knee injury in the Patriots’ Week 1 win over the Arizona Cardinals, missed his third consecutive practice Friday. The 26-year-old team captain has appeared in all 16 games just once in his four-year NFL career, and injuries limited him to 12 games in each of the last two seasons. Cornerback Eric Rowe also was absent after injuring his ankle during Thursday’s session. Meireles absent for Fenerbahçe
Fenerbahçe SK midfielder Raul Meireles will miss both of his side's UEFA Europa League fixtures against AEL Limassol FC after suffering a thigh injury on international duty.The 29-year-old picked up the problem during Portugal's 1-0 FIFA World Cup qualifying loss in Russia on Friday and is out for a month.
