NBA Rumors: Pistons Put Avery Bradley On Trade Block, Eye ‘Significant’ Return

A former Boston Celtic could have a new home before the end of the season. The Detroit Pistons have made guard Avery Bradley available in trade talks ahead of the NBA’s Feb. 8 trade deadline, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported Monday, citing sources. Detroit’s asking price for Bradley is “significant,” per Wojnarowski, who added the Pistons have been one of the league’s most “aggressive” teams leading up to the deadline. Bradley played a key role in the Pistons’ early-season success, averaging 18.3 points per game over the month of November. Detroit has struggled mightily of late, though, losing 11 of its last 13 games to dr... NESN.com

Red Sox Have Perfect Tweet After Jackie Bradley Jr. Robs Aaron Judge Of Homer

Red Sox Have Perfect Tweet After Jackie Bradley Jr. Robs Aaron Judge Of Homer

New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge thought he had hit his 31st home run of the season during the eighth inning of Sunday’s game against the Boston Red Sox. Jackie Bradley Jr. had other plans. After Judge laced a deep fly ball ticketed for the deepest part of Fenway Park, Bradley leaped over the wall and made a stellar catch to preserve the Red Sox’s shutout in their 3-0 win over the Yankees. And given the intense rivalry between the two ballclubs, it comes as no surprise that the Sox took a jab at their American League East foe with an awesome tweet after the game. Judge arguably is the front runner

Jackie Bradley Jr. Takes Over As Red Sox’s Cleanup Hitter Vs. Angels

David Ortiz won’t be in the Boston Red Sox’s starting lineup against the Los Angeles Angels on Saturday, which means Jackie Bradley Jr. will slide up to the cleanup spot. The Red Sox center fielder certainly has been hitting like a cleanup hitter of late with his .342 batting average, three home runs and seven RBIs in his last 10 games. Hear what NESN’s Dave O’Brien and Steve Lyons had to say about Bradley in the video from “Red Sox Gameday Live” above. Thumbnail photo via Gary A. Vasquez/USA TODAY Sports Images ... NESN.com

Red Sox Notes: Jackie Bradley Jr. Looking More Comfortable In Return

A two-game swing was at stake. The Boston Red Sox sit eight games back of the first-place Tampa Bay Rays after pulling off a 4-3 win in 10 innings Friday night at Tropicana Field. The Rays had the Red Sox’s backs against the wall in the ninth inning, though, and Boston would sit 10 games back in the division if Craig Breslow and Alexi Ogando didn’t escape trouble and give the offense a chance to come through in the 10th. It’s hard to point to one game as a turning point. It’s especially difficult when talking about a game in June and a team that has failed to build momentum all season. But Friday

McIlroy battles Bradley in Bermuda

Rory McIlroy looked to be in a duel with Keegan Bradley for the PGA Grand Slam of Golf title in Bermuda today. They both opened the 36-hole event for this season's four major winners with four-under-par 67s yesterday, while Charl Schwartzel managed only a 74 and Darren Clarke slumped to a 77. McIlroy finished the happiest of the quartet. He was five behind American Bradley after 13 holes, but then got back on terms with three birdies against two bogeys. "I gave myself so many chances on the front nine and didn't really make anything, but I finished really, really well," said Northern Ireland's US Open champion. He was the last to arrive after playing in China last week and added: "The greens were

Bradley lands PGA after play-off win

History was made in Atlanta as little-known Keegan Bradley, who was five shots behind with only three holes left and in the first major of his life, beat fellow American Jason Dufner in a three-hole play-off to become USPGA champion. Not only is Bradley the first player to capture a major with a long putter, but also seven majors in a row have now been taken by first-time winners - and that has not happened before either. How it was Bradley and not Dufner, however, almost defied belief. The 25-year-old, whose aunt Pat won six majors and is in the sport's Hall of Fame, looked to have blown his chances of
