After spending over a month as a spectator, Patrice Bergeron was back at it with the Boston Bruins on Saturday afternoon. Bergeron was sensational in his return from injury, scoring two goals and dishing out two assists in the Bruins’ 5-2 win over the Nashville Predators at TD Garden. The veteran center admitted he had some nerves heading into the game, but it was was the type of adrenaline he was looking forward to after missing 16 games. But while there were emotions prior to the tilt, it sounds like there weren’t many after Bergeron scored his 300th career NHL goal. To hear from Bergeron, as well as Brad Marchand and David

Bruce Cassidy Offers High Praise For David Backes After Bruins’ Win
The term “unsung hero” gets thrown around quite a bit in professional sports, but David Backes certainly fits the mold for the Boston Bruins. Backes isn’t going to stuff the stat sheet on a nightly basis, but he manages to make an impact for the B’s both off and on the ice. While Backes’ leadership skills are well-documented, Bruce Cassidy on Thursday provided further insight into what Backes brings to the Black and Gold. Bruins’ 2017 Draft Pick ‘Best Player On The Ice’ In WJC Training Camp
When the Boston Bruins selected Jack Studnicka with the 53rd overall pick in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, the belief was that the Canadian center would need a couple more years to develop in juniors before being ready to make the jump up to the professional ranks. But Studnicka has taken his game to the next level since his name was called on draft day. The 19-year old currently is skating with Team Canada in training camp for the World Junior Championships, which will be held at the end of the month, and caught the attention of TSN’s Bob McKenzie after scoring a pair of goals in a warmup game Wednesday night. Studnicka
Bruce Cassidy Uses Air Travel Analogy To Describe Bruins’ Win Over Coyotes
It wasn’t smooth 60 minutes for the Boston Bruins on Monday. Trailing 2-0 in the second period, the B’s scored three unanswered goals in less than three minutes to take the lead, ultimately winning 4-3. The Bruins thoroughly were being outplayed until well into the second period, but took control of the game after that. They maintained control until Arizona made a late push, but Boston did just enough in the end to grab the victory. After the game, Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy and NESN’s Jack Edwards and Andy Brickley used air travel as an analogy to describe the contest. To hear what Cassidy had to say, check out the “Bruins
