This is hard to say, but we might never see Tiger Woods play competitive golf again — and he knows it. Woods, who still is recovering from his fourth back surgery and a battle with prescription drugs, gave an update on his rehab Wednesday ahead of the Presidents Cup in New Jersey where he is a captain’s assistant. “My timetable is based on what my surgeon said,” Woods said CBS Sports. “As I alluded to last week, I’m hitting 60-yard shots. I’m hitting it really straight … it’s a joke, smile, OK.” But the 14-time major champion is optimistic about his recovery, although he’s aware Father Time is undefeated. “Overall, I’m... NESN.com

Bradley Smith's blog: Making progress
Putting those two dodgy weekends behind me, I think they are the only negative parts of what has been a good first half of the season for me and the new KTM team. We have continued to make steady progress moving in the right direction with the bike getting better and better. We beat some very good riders on competitive machinery in Germany and we really raced into the points. Other races when we have picked up points riders have dropped out or crashed but there was only one major crash in front of us – we really earned those points. We raced the KTM into the points rather than just picking up points. It was great for the morale

The Boston Red Sox are expected to run away with the American League East this season, but as they say, you can’t predict baseball. Savage Thunder Mascot Taunts Kid After Destroying Him In Musical Chairs
Share this: Some people are just more competitive than others. In the spirit of Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook, who destroys his opponents mercilessly night in and night out, Rumble the Bison, the team’s official mascot, got ultra competitive during an intermission game of musical chairs during OKC’s final preseason game Tuesday night, a 97-87 victory over the Denver Nuggets. Observe. Not only did Rumble just destroy this poor kid in musical chairs, he actually taunted him as he (hilariously) walks away completely defeated. There’s really no other words to describe this video, so if you need us we’ll be watching it on repeat for a while. Thumbnail photo via Mark D. Smith/USA TODAY Sports Images More Stories Source link
