The Boston Bruins were chasing the Ottawa Senators all night in Monday nights 4-2 loss in Ottawa. The Senators led the entire game after they scored two early goals in the first period and Senators goalie Craig Anderson only allowed two goals on 27 shots by the Bruins. Perhaps the three most important saves of the night by Anderson came in the first period when he denied Brad Marchand, Patrice Bergeron, and David Backes in the same sequence. All three Bruins had a chance to score on three consecutive shots but Anderson stopped all of them. To see Anderson reject all three shots check out the video above for the DCU Save

Craig Kimbrel Asked To Pitch In Red Sox-Rangers Game On Heels Of Rough Outing
BOSTON — Tuesday night’s game left a pretty bad tasted in Craig Kimbrel’s mouth, but he was able to wash that out with a bit of persuasion Wednesday. The Red Sox closer imploded in Tuesday’s 7-2 loss to the Texas Rangers, allowing a season-high four runs without recording an out in a continuation of his struggles in non-save situations. As such, it might have come as a surprise when Kimbrel trotted out in the ninth inning Wednesday in another non-save situation against Texas. But according John Farrell, Kimbrel approached the Red Sox manager before the game and asked for a chance to put Tuesday’s rough outing behind him. “We had talk...
LeBron James, Craig Sager Share Heartwarming Moment After Cavs’ Game 6 Win
Craig Sager was in the house Thursday night in Cleveland, calling the first NBA Finals game of his illustrious broadcasting career thanks to an agreement between TNT and ESPN. Sager is battling leukemia, and after the Cavaliers took down the Golden State Warriors 115-101 to force a Game 7, Cavs star LeBron James let the longtime sideline reporter know he’s pulling for him. “First of all, let me ask you a question: How in the hell did you go 30-plus years without getting a Finals game?” James told Sager in a postgame interview. “That don’t make no sense. But I’m happy to see you, man. Much love and respect, and I’m happy we
Craig Sager Returns From Illness To Interview Carmelo Anthony (Video)
Craig Sager’s back, and it’s like he never left. The colorful NBA sideline reporter did his first interview since being diagnosed with leukemia Sunday before the NBA All-Star Game. Sager interviewed Carmelo Anthony via satellite from Orlando, Fla., and even showed off his, well, interesting short suit. Sager said he hopes to be back full-time by March 1, and he’s been recovering thanks to support from the NBA community. Even Kevin Garnett, who famously told Sager to burn one of his crazy suits, checked in on the reporter every now and again. And even though Sager is itching to get back on the court, he’s still living life t...
