NDungu wins Dublin marathon

Kenya's Geoffrey NDungu has won the 32nd National Lottery Dublin Marathon in a new course record time of two hours, eight minutes and 32 seconds. He picks up €15,000 for winning the race, plus €5,000 for breaking the course record. Sean Connelly from Tallaght was the leading Irish man at 2 hours and 18 minutes and 51 seconds. Over 14,000 athletes took part in the race in Dublin city today. More to follow
