The four-day camp, which wrapped up Sunday, took Boston prospects on a collision course of both on- and off-ice lessons. And it’s safe to say these youngsters learned a lot about what it takes to be a professional. Defending champions Madrid – bidding to become the first team to retain the trophy in the UEFA Champions League era – are in a third final in four years, having beaten city rivals Club Atlético de Madrid in both 2014 and 2016; Juventus, meanwhile, lost to FC Barcelona in the 2015 showpiece. • This match is a repeat of the 1998 final in

Guintoli: “I want to do well – but I know it will be hard”

“I was so impatient because the GSX-RR is one of the best bikes at the moment, but it’s even better than I expected. The engine character, how light it us, how the electronics work, the anti-wheelie…riding a MotoGP bike is an incredible experience. I also already know Jerez well and I’m not short of references. So it was a great pleasure for me to do some laps on Monday afternoon. We got down to work more the following day, to start finding a good feeling. Overall it went well so I’m pretty happy with the tests.” Source link

VR46 Master Camp riders speed up on second day

Tomas Casas: "Yesterday was a really fun day. We started in the gym, trying out the race simulator, which was pretty awesome. Migno demonstrated how it works and made it look a lot easier than it actually was, but it was a good experience for us to try the simultor and adjust to it. It‘s a good training and helps you to get to know tracks and get used to bikes. Afterwards we did some Pilates, which was a nice way to end the morning session, to feel relaxed. We then went to the go-kart track and we tried MiniGP, which is was a great experience for myself, as I had never been on a MiniGP bike before. It was

NBC Sports Chairman Explains Potential Commercial Changes In NFL Games

Share this: Football fans love tuning in every Sunday to watch their favorite NFL team play, but nobody likes breaks in the action. This happens quite a bit during an NFL broadcast, though, as there seemingly is a commercial break after every play. NBC Sports chairman Mark Lazarus is aware of this problem, and is looking into making the viewing experience more enjoyable for fans. In a recent interview with Variety magazine, Lazarus outlined a few potential resolutions. “We are working on formatting that reduces the number of breaks, but maybe are a little bit longer, maybe 30 seconds longer,” Lazerus said. “We may take out some of the breaks. I think that will enhance the viewing experience. When you have a play, take a break,

Kent: KTM Moto3™ test and wildcard at Le Mans

Aki Ajo, Team Manager: "After learning of Danny Kent’s situation in the World Championship, the team, Red Bull and KTM had the joint idea of asking him to test and develop our bike. Danny is a rider who has already been part of our team in the past; we know well how he works and he knows us, and we believe that with his experience he can give us a very interesting point of view for the technical development of our bike. In addition, what every rider needs is to compete, so we have offered him the possibility of a wildcard ride at Le Mans with us. I am convinced that the outcome of this collaboration will be very satisfactory

Lift off for Del Conca Gresini Moto3™

Fausto Gresini, Team Manager: "I would first like to thank once again Del Conca, which have embraced this ambitious project with a lot of enthusiasm. We can definitely claim to be a top team in the category and we believe we have the credentials to fight for the World title, as actually we did in the last two seasons. Di Giannantonio already achieved great results in 2016, so we expect a lot from him because he can now count on more experience. On the other hand, Martin accumulated a good experience in the past years and I like him a lot as a rider: he’s talented and I think he will give us great satisfaction. Moreover, the choice of Jorge
