A University of Chicago scholar fought off somebody who tried sexually assaulting her on campus Monday. The 21-year-old girl was strolling on the sidewalk about 12:10 a.m. within the 5600 block of South Drexel Avenue, Chicago police mentioned. A male approached her from behind, positioned his arm round her torso and pushed her to the bottom, in line with University police. He tried to place his hand up her skirt, however she bit his arm, inflicting him to run off. No arrests have been made, and Area Central detectives are investigating.
