If the Maple Leafs have any hope of getting back in their first-round Stanley Cup playoff series with the Boston Bruins, they’ll need their fans to bring their all in the next two games in Toronto. The Bruins have outclassed the Leafs in the first two contests, but as Jake DeBrusk noted in an interview with NESN’s Alex Kraemer, those games are behind the B’s. Now, Boston has its focus locked in on Game 3, and DeBrusk is expecting a “crazy” atmosphere at Air Canada Centre on Monday. Bruins Forward Brad Marchand Day-To-Day With Upper Body Injury
The Boston Bruins are regrouping after star forward Brad Marchand was scratched for Sunday’s game against the Chicago Blackhawks due to an upper body injury. The Bruins are entering a tough point in the season with a number of injuries and a difficult schedule. With Charlie McAvoy and Patrice Bergeron out with lower body injuries, Marchand is another B’s playmaker that the team cannot afford to lose for long. NESN’s Billy Jaffe was in studio to give his take on the Bruins’ game plan moving forward without a few key players. Luke Walton Handles Lonzo Ball Controversy With Hilarious Jab At LaVar
Luke Walton has been feeling the heat recently, but thankfully for us, he’s coping with a terrific sense of humor. The Los Angeles Lakers head coach recently was the subject of a LaVar Ball tirade, as the father of rookie point guard Lonzo Ball accused Walton of losing control of the team. Fast forward to Sunday night, when Walton was asked about Ball’s playing time following L.A.’s 132-113 win over the Atlanta Hawks. Here’s his awesomely NSFW answer: “His dad was talking (expletive), so I took him out early,” Walton cracked, waiting a few good seconds before adding, “I’m just kidding.” Most of LaVar’s gripes involve Walto... Bruins Notes: Patrice Bergeron’s Hot Streak Continues With Four Goals
Patrice Bergeron has never won the Hart Trophy, but it’s hard to find many NHL players more valuable to their team than the Boston Bruins center. Bergeron literally does it all for the B’s. He creates offense, shuts down the opponent’s top line and excels on special teams. In Saturday night’s 7-1 blowout win over the Carolina Hurricanes at TD Garden, Bergeron’s scoring prowess made the difference for Boston. The veteran forward scored a career-high four goals, while also adding an assist for a five-point night. He won 13 of his 17 faceoffs, too. Bergeron is in the midst of an impressive offensive stretch over ... NESN.com

Pascal Couasnon, Motorsport Director at Michelin, says: "For as long as Michelin has existed, the projects in which it has been involved have sought to take mobility forward, while making it safer, more economical and more respectful of the planet. Progress needs all the stakeholders to innovate, not only on the technological front but also in terms of their vision. As motorcycle racing’s first all-electric competition, the FIM Moto-e World Cup’s creation by the FIM [Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme] and Dorna Sports is a concrete, meaningful move in favour of mobility. For Michelin, it will provide us with an invaluable laboratory for the development of innovations that will go on to feature on our road tyres. We are consequently delighted to
Detroit’s Silverdome Demolition Fails In Saddest Video You’ll See Today
Sometimes the jokes just write themselves. The Pontiac Silverdome, home of the Detroit Lions from 1975 to 2001 and Detroit Pistons from 1978 to 1988, was scheduled to be demolished Sunday at around 8:30 a.m. local time. The stadium hadn’t been used for many years and was incredibly poor condition, so Sunday’s implosion finally would close the door on a Detroit eyesore and allow the city to move forward. Let’s check in on how the demolition went: So, yeah. That didn’t go as planned. The planned blast was supposed to break the metal beams supporting the upper ring of the stadium, causing it to collapse, according to FOX 2 News in Detroit... NESN.com
