The start to 2017 has been a different story for Moto2™ title leader Franco Morbidelli, with four wins out of five so far and now his first home race of the season. Characteristically relaxed, the Italian knows he’ll be facing down some extremely tough rivals – but also thought the same of Le Mans: “We’ve made a great start to the year, and I’m really happy about that. Couldn’t ask for any better, maybe just to not crash in Jerez but you always make some mistakes. Now here is a track where I’ve never been fast before, so here it’s important to be fast. It was a good feeling to win in Le Mans, I wasn’t expecting it. I was

Red Sox Notes: Boston Finding Multiple Ways To Win Games During Streak
Share this: The Boston Red Sox are playing some of their best baseball of the year, and it has resulted in their longest winning streak of the season. The Sox have won five consecutive games thanks to a 3-0 win Friday night over the Seattle Mariners. Boston had lost three in a row to the Athletics before the recent successful stretch, but it left Oakland with a win in the series finale and has won four straight at Fenway Park. And the Sox haven’t been relying on just one aspect of their game to win, which manager John Farrell is pleased about. “There’s been different ways we’ve done it,” Farrell said, as seen on NESN’s Red Sox postgame coverage. “It hasn’t been just outscoring by
Tiger Woods Hasn’t Felt This Good In Years Despite Another Back Surgery
Remember Tiger Woods? Well, you better, because he apparently feels better than he has in years. Woods posted a hopeful health update to his website Wednesday, saying he hasn’t felt this good in years despite having his fourth back surgery since 2014. His latest was a fusion back surgery, and the pain he felt beforehand sounds excruciating. “I could no longer live with the pain I had,” Woods wrote. “We tried every possible non-surgical route and nothing worked. I had good days and bad days, but the pain was usually there, and I couldn’t do much. Even lying down hurt. I had nerve pain with anything I did and was at the end of my
LeBron James, Cavs’ Big Three Dash Any Chance Celtics Had To Come Back
The Boston Celtics had to be feeling good at halftime Tuesday night. They had just played a great first half in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers, and LeBron James already was in foul trouble with the C’s leading by 10 at the break. “I thought we played as well as maybe we have the entire playoffs during the first half,” Celtics coach Brad Stevens told reporters afterward. But that good feeling was a fleeting one. The Cavs erased what once was a 16-point deficit and charged to a 112-99 win at Quicken Loans Arena. And with the win, they took a 3-1 series lead and moved one victory away from reaching
Zarco extends contract with Tech 3 for 2018
Herve Poncharal, Team Manager: “This news is incredibly good for me and the entire Monster Yamaha Tech3 team but it is also positive for MotoGP racing worldwide and especially in France. We can announce that Johann Zarco has decided to remain with us for the 2018 season. Perhaps he could have waited a bit longer to make this decision, but he told me that he is happy and ready to commit himself to us. We are very proud to have that sort of confidence from Johann. He has already brought some amazing things to the team, such as huge excitement and joy, but he has also given us some pride back. I’m sure the best is yet to come, yet

VR46 Master Camp riders speed up on second day
Tomas Casas: "Yesterday was a really fun day. We started in the gym, trying out the race simulator, which was pretty awesome. Migno demonstrated how it works and made it look a lot easier than it actually was, but it was a good experience for us to try the simultor and adjust to it. It‘s a good training and helps you to get to know tracks and get used to bikes. Afterwards we did some Pilates, which was a nice way to end the morning session, to feel relaxed. We then went to the go-kart track and we tried MiniGP, which is was a great experience for myself, as I had never been on a MiniGP bike before. It was
