Share this: BOSTON — Stop us if you’ve heard this story before, but Hanley Ramirez hit another home run. The Red Sox first baseman, who’s been going yard at an insane rate, hit a three-run blast in the fifth inning of Sunday’s game against the New York Yankees, but that apparently wasn’t enough for him. Ramirez hit a second home run, a solo shot that cleared the Green Monster, off Yankees reliever Tyler Clippard in the seventh. Ramirez now has 28 home runs this season, including 12 in his last 21 games. He hit four against the Yankees in this series alone. They went home with a 7-5 win thanks to a monstrous walk-off blast off the bat of Hanley Ramirez with two outs in the bottom of the ninth. The win pushed the Yankees back five games in the AL East standings, which Boston leads, and spoiled a stellar start from New York starter Masahiro Tanaka, who went seven innings and allowed just one run on four hits for New York.
