Share this: Rafael Devers hasn’t made his Major League Baseball debut yet, but he said he’s already putting in major league work. The 20-year-old third baseman got the call up to the Boston Red Sox on Sunday after just nine games with Triple-A Pawtucket, and he’s anxious to get on the field. Devers told reporters in Seattle on Monday during Boston’s series against the Mariners that he already has big plans for his career. “For me, the work is never done,” Devers said through a translator, per WEEI.com. “I just want to learn how to be a superstar third baseman. Everyone tells me the only way to do that is through constant work, just like when you’re hitting you have to do constant

Crutchlow: “Front row in the dry in Jerez is good”
Cal Crutchlow, P3: “I’ve been losing in the last sector the whole weekend but I’m very happy to be on the front row, my second of the year, and it was really nice to complete the Honda front row. The team have been working really hard and this weekend we’ve been testing some things for Honda, long nights for the guys in the garage and we haven’t changed much in the setup but we’re happy to do it and it’s a nice job to have – and we’re fast at the same time. We’ve tried most of the tyres and we know the soft rear won’t last the race. The hard will last but I don’t know if it will
Jason Day’s Status For 2017 Masters Is Undecided Due To Mother’s Health
Share this: The 2017 Masters already could be missing Tiger Woods and its signature azaleas, and now it could be without Jason Day. Day, who currently is the No. 3 ranked golfer in the world, withdrew from the Dell Technologies Match Play in Austin, Texas last Wednesday due to his mother’s ongoing battle with cancer. Day’s mother, Dening, had surgery for lung cancer in Columbus, Ohio., on Friday and while Day will travel to Augusta, Ga., to practice at Augusta National, his status for the prestigious tournament will be dictated by his mother’s prognosis, according to The Associated Press. “Obviously, I’m still nervous because we’re still waiting to see … if it has spread or not,” Day said, per The Associated Press. “From there, we have
Matt Kenseth’s Car Hits Wall Hard During NASCAR Race At Phoenix Raceway
The track temperature at Phoenix International Raceway on Sunday was a big test of tire management, which Matt Kenseth didn’t pass. Kenseth hit the wall on Lap 192 of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Camping World 500 after his front right tire failed in the middle of Turn 2. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver reportedly was complaining his car was tight throughout most of the race, and attempted to correct that by making a track-bar adjustment on his second pit stop. The problem likley caused too much wear on the front right, though, as it finally gave out once Kenseth put it under heavy load. Thumbnail photo via Jasen Vinlove/USA TODA... NESN.com
SIC Racing Team enjoy positive Sepang test
Adam Norrodin: “Firstly I want to say a big thank you to the whole team; everyone has worked so hard these last four days and also to SIC for this opportunity to test here. We have been pushing a lot and have achieved what we set out to do here, so I’m very happy. The new bike is great and we found a good base set-up here at Sepang, so it’s been a very positive first test. For sure we still have a lot of work to do before the first race in Qatar, but I’m feeling really motivated for this season. The next test is in Jerez in two weeks’ time, so we will have another opportunity there to

It Sounds Like Russell Wilson Could Get Trolled Hard By Falcons’ DJ
The home-field advantage figures to be strong this Saturday when the Atlanta Falcons host the Seattle Seahawks in a divisional-round playoff game. Not only will Falcons fans undoubtedly be wild and crazy as Atlanta seeks its first postseason victory since the 2012 season. But the team’s official DJ, Jay Envy, also told Complex he has no plans to scale back on the number of Future songs he plays despite the awkward link between the Atlanta-born rapper and Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson. In fact, don’t be surprised if a few extra Future tracks make DJ Jay Envy’s playlist. “This is Atlanta. I play Future at every home game,” Envy told... NESN.com
