The win pushed the Yankees back five games in the AL East standings, which Boston leads, and spoiled a stellar start from New York starter Masahiro Tanaka, who went seven innings and allowed just one run on four hits for New York. Share this: Well, this was a scary hit. Notre Dame senior wide receiver Torii Hunter Jr. took a hard hit to the head in the end zone during the third quarter of Sunday night’s game at Texas. Hunter Jr., the son of former MLB All-Star Torii Hunter, initially caught the pass, which would have been a go-ahead touchdown, but he dropped the ball after taking the two hard hits. He appeared to go limp afterward, causing concern, but moved his extremities while on the ground and eventually walked off under his own power.
