NBA Rumors: Timberwolves Still Targeting Paul George Or Jimmy Butler

Share this: The Minnesota Timberwolves apparently are very active ahead of the 2017 NBA Draft. While much of the focus Thursday has been on the Boston Celtics’ reported pursuit of New York Knicks young star Kristaps Porzingis, the T-Wolves also reportedly are looking into acquiring a star of their own. Minnesota continues to show interest in landing Paul George or Jimmy Butler, league sources tell @TheVertical. — Adrian Wojnarowski (@WojVerticalNBA) June 22, 2017 Both the Indiana Pacers’ Paul George and Chicago Bulls’ Jimmy Butler have been popular topics in trade rumors over the past few days, and Minnesota has been one of the teams reportedly interested in the stars. The T-Wolves also reportedly are shopping the No. 7 overall pick, so it could be a very

Leon Orgis and Tim Georgi fastest at Donington Park

"Overall, things went quite well today. The practice session wasn't bad either. In qualifying, though, we unfortunately had a defective rear tyre, which meant I wasn't able to push as hard as I had intended. Even so, we find ourselves first on the grid, so I can hardly complain. I am happy about that. The track is quite interesting, especially the first two sectors, because it's very fast there. The surface is not outstanding, as it's quite bumpy, but at the end of the day, the conditions are the same for everyone. In tomorrow's race, I hope that Walid and I leave the rest behind, just like we did at Oschersleben. We'll then see what happens in the race. It

Red Sox Prospect Report: Reassessing The Farm System Through First Quarter Of Season

It’s a weird time for the Boston Red Sox farm system given the overhaul at the major league level in the last 18 months or so. Red Sox president of baseball operations Dave Dombrowski has made some splashy moves since taking over, and that’s taken quite the toll on the Red Sox minor league system. The list of the organization’s top prospects looks much different than it did even a year ago, but there are still some interesting names who could soon make headlines — either in the organization or as a piece in a potential trade to further shake up a major league team that’s been mediocre through nearly two months of

Why Security Questioned Ricky Stenhouse Jr.’s Dad After Son’s First Win

Share this: Ricky Stenhouse Sr. has a habit of climbing catch fences. The father of NASCAR driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr. has taken that shortcut to victory lane before after his son’s racing wins in lower series, but when his scaling attempt was thwarted on Sunday, things got interesting for him at Talladega Superspeedway. And by “interesting” we mean he was temporarily detained while his son celebrated the No. 17 team’s victory in the GEICO 500. [embedded content] “Somebody stole his golf cart last night, I think, for one thing, so he was worried about that,” Stenhouse Jr. told reporters, laughing. “I told him we’ll get him another one. Then, I don’t have the full story, (but) he got escorted to victory lane, though, by troopers.” Roush

Umpire CB Bucknor Nearly Ruined Nats-Braves Game With Horrible Call

Share this: Bad umpiring is nothing new for CB Bucknor, but he outdid even himself Tuesday night. The Washington Nationals were up 3-1 on the Braves in Atlanta in the bottom of the ninth inning when reliever Shawn Kelley came in to try to get the Nats out of a one-out, bases-loaded jam. Kelley got Braves left fielder Emilio Bonifacio on a flyout, and the right-hander seemed to strike out third baseman Chase d’Arnaud swinging in the next at-bat. It was a wide miss, but Bucknor apparently thought he caught a piece of it and called it a foul tip after convening with the rest of the umpires. That wasn’t even Bucknor’s only bad call of the night, as he whiffed on calling Nats left
