LOS ANGELES — Another letdown towards the last-place Kings left the Blackhawks one sport away from elimination within the wild-card race. The Hawks blew a one-goal lead with 4 minutes left in regulation and misplaced 3-2 in additional time to complete the season sequence winless towards the Kings, who're by far the worst group within the Western Conference. “We had our stretches where we were really good, [but] you never know when the game’s on the line,” coach Jeremy Colliton stated. “The sport’s at all times on the road. “If you let down for 5, 10 seconds … you get punished. That’s form of what occurred. Even although we did quite a lot of good issues, don’t matter

Brad Marchand, Patrice Bergeron Connect For Goal Off Faceoff Win Vs. Kings
Brad Marchand netted his 23rd goal of the season in beautiful fashion on Saturday night against the Los Angeles Kings. Lining up for an offensive zone faceoff against Anze Kopitar, Patrice Bergeron won the draw to his right, finding Marchand on the wing. With Danton Heinen setting a pick, Marchand was able to rifle off a shot that beat kings goalie Jack Campbell to give the Bruins a 2-1 lead. Boston went on to win 4-2. Patrice Bergeron Laments Bruins’ ‘Unfortunate’ Overtime Loss To Kings
The Boston Bruins had one of the NHL’s hottest teams on the ropes Saturday night, but the Los Angeles Kings’ late-game magic pegged the B’s with a frustrating loss. After a back-and-forth, evenly matched contest, the Kings earned their ninth win of the season with a last-second goal that just narrowly beat the final buzzer of the overtime period. Patrice Bergeron tipped his cap to L.A. after the Bruins’ 2-1 loss, but he understandably was upset with the outcome considering how well his team played for the majority of the game. To hear from Bergeron, as well as Tuukka Rask, check out the video above from “NESN Sports Today,” presented ... NESN.com
NBA Rumors: Kings Could Pay Big Price To Move Up To Draft De’Aaron Fox
The Sacramento Kings have their eye on a certain NBA draft prospect, but they might have to move up in order to secure him. The Kings own the No. 5 and No. 10 overall picks in the 2017 NBA Draft and reportedly could be interested in packaging those two picks together to move up and take De’Aaron Fox. ESPN’s Chad Ford reported in his latest mock draft the Kings are enamored with the Kentucky point guard and might pay a steep price to ensure he comes to Sacramento. “There’s talk inside the organization about combining picks Nos. 5 and 10 to move up in the draft to secure Fox,” Ford wrote. “If they found
DeMarcus Cousins To Celtics? Cases For, Against Boston Trading For Kings Star
DeMarcus Cousins trade rumors are like inchworms: Just when you think you’ve killed them, they grow back stronger than ever. The Sacramento Kings center, supremely talented but also supremely hard to coach, seemingly has been on the trading block forever. With each new report of the Kings’ dysfunction — they’re on their sixth head coach since Cousins entered the NBA in 2010 — comes speculation that the team finally will trade their perennial All-Star. Cousins is in Boston on Friday to play the Celtics, who have been tied to the big man on several occasions in recent years. Celtics point guard and team cheerleader Isaiah Thomas even said in O... Bruins’ Strong Response Not Enough To Erase Slow Start In Loss To Kings
by Zack Cox on Sun, Mar 20, 2016 at 2:08AM 351 “Playing a 60-minute game” is such a common hockey cliche for a reason, the Boston Bruins showed it Saturday night. Boston saved perhaps the best two periods of its California road trip for last, but they were not enough to make up for the inauspicious start to Saturday night’s 2-1 loss to the Los Angeles Kings at Staples Center. The Kings nearly tripled up the Bruins in shots on net in the first 20 minut...
