Tom Brady Had Simple Message For Matthew Slater After Chiefs Took Late Lead

Tom Brady knows exactly what to tell his teammates in big moments. Such was the case last Sunday when the Kansas City Chiefs returned a kickoff 97 yards and scored three plays later to take a 33-30 lead over the New England Patriots with just over eight minutes to go in the fourth quarter at Gillette Stadium. Despite the fact the Patriots had blown a 15-point lead, Brady wasn’t worried, bumping fists with fellow team captain Matthew Slater before delivering a simple message. “We’re good,” Brady told Slater, per ESPN’s Mike Reiss. Carrasco becomes first woman to lead a World Championship

Ana Carrasco once again made history this past weekend, taking victory in the WorldSSP300 race at Imola to become the first woman to lead the standings in an individual motorcycling World Championship. The Spaniard was the first female winner of a solo World Championship race after taking her first win in the class at Portimao in 2017, and took her first pole position at Imola on Saturday before dominating the race at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari to take her second WorldSSP300 win. Zarco: “I’m happy with second”

Speaking about the race, Zarco admitted Crutchlow deserved the victory. “He (Crutchlow) was maybe a bit more comfortable than all of us, he could wait a bit behind me, from the start to the end I was doing the best I can, so when I could lead two laps from the end, I was again at my maximum,” the 27-year-old explained. “Cal took the lead and I said ‘I can’t give up’ and I try thinking maybe I can get an opportunity, but I was on the limit and didn’t want to do a silly mistake, so he deserved the victory and with me pushing this way, I’m pretty happy with the second place.” Source link

Strudwick storms Donington for first British Talent Cup win

By a few laps in, the lead trio had become a quartet of Strudwick, Whatley, Brian Hart and pole position man Cook as the four looked set to fight it out for the podium – but disaster struck soon after for Cook as he was a casualty of the tricky conditions, crashing out of contention. That left Strudwick remaining steadfast in the lead, with Whatley’s charge taking him up into second – and Seabright at the head of the second group and pushing to catch up. Source link
