Bruins’ Patrice Bergeron Unlikely To Play Vs. Coyotes With Lower Body Injury

The Boston Bruins need Patrice Bergeron back on the ice, but he probably won’t be lacing up his skates Saturday. The Bruins veteran center hasn’t suited up yet this season, as he has been trying to work his way through a nagging lower body injury. Kryie Irving’s Gift To Kid Wearing His Cavs Jersey Will Warm Your Heart

Kryie Irving’s Gift To Kid Wearing His Cavs Jersey Will Warm Your Heart

Kyrie Irving isn’t willing to leave his fans behind, as his NBA career progresses. Upon spotting a young fan wearing his old Cleveland Cavaliers jersey on Friday night in Philadelphia, the Boston Celtics guard gave him an incredible gift: his game-worn sneakers. Cameras were on hand to record Irving’s kind gesture, which the youngster and surrounding fans absolutely loved. That, combined with Irving’s sneakers, will make him the boss of the schoolyard basketball court for years to come. Thumbnail photo via Winslow Townson/USA TODAY Spor... NESN.com

Lundberg: "We went to attack in all the races to win"

Christian Lundberg: "Our strategy has rewarded us: we went to attack in all the races to win them and despite the fact that it was not always possible to do so, there have been eight wins so far! Joan was superb! He has made the last laps intense, especially for us who are in the box! Now the advantage has really grown. We will try to make (it) a good race in Japan, although I think Joan wants to win there, because this is his mentality! We hope we can win at least one of the remaining four rounds, and maybe we can win a World Champion with a win!" Source link

Bradley Smith (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) made a solid step forward for Sunday at Aragon, starting from the back row but moving up to take P19. Using the soft tyre to his advantage earlier in the race, the Brit then found it a slightly tougher task over race distance - but has more track time to make more progress as the Austrian factory remain at MotorLand for Tuesday and Wednesday ahead of flying to Motegi. Hope Solo, USWNT Make Peace; What’s Next For Legendary Soccer Goalkeeper?

Might Hope Solo actually resurrect her career with the United States women’s soccer team? The parties have taken the first step toward doing so by settling the grievance Solo filed against the U.S. Soccer Federation after it terminated her contract in 2016, according to The San Francisco Chronicle’s Ann Killon. Solo and U.S. Soccer reached the settlement last month, thus avoiding arbitration, but the legendary USA goalkeeper only announced it Thursday in a statement saying she and U.S. Soccer “have amicably resolved the matter and are moving forward in a positive way,” per Killon. U.S. Soccer in August 2016 suspended Solo six months then... NESN.com
