Joe Allen on Monday completed a permanent transfer from Liverpool FC to Stoke City. The midfielder, who joined the club from Swansea City in the summer of 2012, moves to the Premier League club after four years with the Reds. The first problem most Celtics draft picks run into is trying to find a number for their jerseys. As Danny Ainge noted Monday, there aren’t a lot of digits left. Kelly Olynyk and Colton Iverson, the Celtics’ 2013 NBA draft picks, were officially introduced to the media and a group of local kids at a news conference that also served to unveil the newly renovated Mildred Avenue Teen Center in Mattapan, Mass. Olynyk, the 13th overall pick who was acquired in a trade with the Dallas Mavericks, held No. 41, while Iverson, the 53rd overall pick who as acquired in a cash transaction with the Indiana Pacers, held No. 37.
