Dovizioso: “In Argentina I don’t have any luck”

Andrea Dovizioso, DNF: “This was a strange race because, even though I actually had very little grip and I was not particularly competitive, I managed to recover well in the early stages and gain some positions. When I got involved in the fight with Danilo, who always brakes on the limit, I tried to find the right moment to pass him, but unfortunately at turn 5 I was hit by Aleix Espargarò’s bike and crashed out. Here in Argentina I don’t have any luck at all, seeing as today I was taken out yet again, and I’m bitterly disappointed because being able to bring home a probably fifth place, in such a difficult weekend, would have been very important.” Source link

Matt Kenseth’s Car Hits Wall Hard During NASCAR Race At Phoenix Raceway

Matt Kenseth’s Car Hits Wall Hard During NASCAR Race At Phoenix Raceway

The track temperature at Phoenix International Raceway on Sunday was a big test of tire management, which Matt Kenseth didn’t pass. Kenseth hit the wall on Lap 192 of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Camping World 500 after his front right tire failed in the middle of Turn 2. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver reportedly was complaining his car was tight throughout most of the race, and attempted to correct that by making a track-bar adjustment on his second pit stop. The problem likley caused too much wear on the front right, though, as it finally gave out once Kenseth put it under heavy load. Thumbnail photo via Jasen Vinlove/USA TODA... NESN.com

by Zack Cox on Thu, Mar 16, 2017 at 3:32PM 2,178 Share this: The New England Patriots were able to bolster their pass rush while giving up almost nothing last week, trading the 64th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft to the Carolina Panthers in exchange for defensive end Kony Ealy and the 72nd selection. Ealy addressed the New England media for the first time Thursday, expressing his excitement about the opportunity to play for a perennial Super Bowl contender. “Well, first of all, I would just like to thank New England and the whole front office for allowing me to come and learn from the greats, learning how to take my game and bring it to the next level,” Ealy said. “(I’m) just coming

Isaiah Thomas ‘Confident’ He Can Pass Russell Westbrook As NBA’s Top Scorer

The Boston Celtics have had a remarkable season thus far, and that is in large part due to Isaiah Thomas. The All-Star guard is averaging an incredible 29.9 points per game this season, good for the second-highest mark in the NBA. Thomas only trails Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Russell Westbrook, who’s averaging 30.9 points per game and has held the top spot for the majority of the season. However, with 26 games remaining in the Celtics’ season, Thomas believes he can overtake Westbrook on the scoring leaderboard, as he told Bill Doyle of the Worcester Telegram & Gazette following the Celtics’ 116-108 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on ... Why Patriots Can’t Neutralize Antonio Brown Like Other Top Receivers

Share this: Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots typically do an excellent job of devising a scheme to take out the opposition’s best player. Patriots Vs. Texans Notes: Julian Edelman, Chris Hogan Carry Receiving Corps

by Zack Cox on Sun, Jan 15, 2017 at 2:30AM 3,765 Share this: FOXBORO, Mass. — For the sixth time in as many seasons, the New England Patriots find themselves one win away from the Super Bowl. Saturday night’s 34-16 victory over the Houston Texans at Gillette Stadium extended the Patriots’ streak of consecutive championship game appearances to a half-dozen, breaking the previous NFL record of five set by the 1970s Oakland Raiders. Predictably, that record wasn’t at the forefront of Patriots coach Bill Belichick’s mind when he addressed the media after the game. “I mean, it’s great to be playing at this time of year,” Belichick said. “You’re one of four teams that are left after the weekend. But again, I mean, I don’t really
