Share this: BOSTON — Fred Hoiberg had some words to say about Isaiah Thomas’ ball-handling Wednesday night for the second straight game. Well, more like “word.” After Chicago’s 108-97 Game 5 loss to the Celtics at TD Garden, the Bulls coach was asked if he thought Boston guard Isaiah Thomas carried the ball during the contest. Given Hoiberg’s eye-opening remarks about Thomas’ dribbling (or lack thereof) after Game 4, it seemed like a fair question. But Hoiberg was having absolutely none of it. F1 Live Stream: Watch 2017 Chinese GP Online
Share this: With one race under their belts, Formula One teams hope to have a better understanding of how to get the most out of their cars when they take to the track for Sunday’s Chinese Grand Prix. Scuderia Ferrari emerged from the season opener in Melbourne, Australia, victorious, with Sebastian Vettel beating Mercedes-AMG Petronas drivers Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas to the top step of the podium. While both teams showed similar pace throughout the weekend, it was Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen who recorded the fastest lap of the race, despite finishing off the podium. Mercedes will look to bounce back with a win at Shanghai International Circuit, though it will have its work cut out for it, as Ferrari seemingly isn’t going to make large strategic mistakes
Lewis Hamilton Ready To Get ‘Down And Dirty’ After Ferrari’s Victory
Most F1 drivers would be pleased with a runner-up finish to begin the 2017 season, but Lewis Hamilton isn’t like most F1 drivers. The Mercedes-AMG Petronas driver watched Scuderia Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel coast to a P1 finish at the Australian Grand Prix on Sunday, as Hamilton finished nearly 10 seconds behind, good for P2.. And even though it was a strong day for Mercedes, with Valtteri Bottas calming his first podium as a member of the team, Hamilton sounded anything but satisfied after the race. Given Ferrari’s performance in preseason testing, its victory Sunday shouldn’t surprise anyone — including Hamilton. Still, even though a rac... NESN.com

Sepang: ‘DesmoDovi’ on cloud nine
It was a race of attrition, with big names – and previous wet weather winners – crashing out. The likes of Marc Marquez, Cal Crutchlow and Andrea Iannone all hit the deck at Sepang, and even Rossi struggled, just keeping it on the road to take second after a difficult time on his front tyre in the latter stages. Teammate Jorge Lorenzo crossed the line to take the podium, but Rossi gained just enough on the ‘Spartan’ to secure runner up in the title fight. Source link
Catalunya: VR46's "perfect Sunday"
There was a dark grey cloud over the Catalan GP after tragedy struck on the Friday and the paddock mourned the loss of Moto2™ rider Luis Salom. Racing on at the express wish of the Mallorcan’s family, the weekend was pivotal because of the tragedy – and because of the events in parc ferme following the race. With an adjusted layout after track safety was discussed following Friday’s events, it was – surprisingly to some – the Hondas who gained the most from the change. In the race however, it was Valentino Rossi (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) who struck back once the light went out, finally winning a duel with Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team) on the penultimate lap – for
Texas: Marquez' American beauty
After the drama in Argentina, the men completing the podium also raced for a little redemption. Jorge Lorenzo (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP), who had crashed out alone at Termas de Rio Hondo, got back on track in style to take second – despite a crash in Warm Up. Andrea Iannone (Ducati Team), whose last lap move on his teammate Andrea Dovizioso in Argentina had seen them both slide out and sent some waves through the Ducati Team garage, converted his impressive pace into a points finish for the first time in 2016 – and a first podium of the year.
