By a few laps in, the lead trio had become a quartet of Strudwick, Whatley, Brian Hart and pole position man Cook as the four looked set to fight it out for the podium – but disaster struck soon after for Cook as he was a casualty of the tricky conditions, crashing out of contention. That left Strudwick remaining steadfast in the lead, with Whatley’s charge taking him up into second – and Seabright at the head of the second group and pushing to catch up. Source link

Folger: "The first laps were a medium-sized disaster"
Jonas Folger, P16: "Obviously, I’m disappointed about the outcome of the weekend. This also applies to my entire team because this position does not correspond to our abilities. But honestly, we are struggling to find our level as we were able to perform at the beginning and until halfway point of the season. In addition, we used a new traction control this weekend which caused some issues too so, we went back to the old system on Saturday. Beyond that, the crash in FP3 and the subsequent hustle and bustle in preparation for the afternoon sessions did us further thrown back. We were really perplexed regarding issues such as the tyre selection and the setting for the bike. This, of
Anton Khudobin Beats Red Wings As Bruins’ Backup Goalie Competition Heats Up
The Boston Bruins improved to 2-0 in the preseason with a 4-2 win over the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday night at TD Garden. Anton Khudobin, presumably the frontrunner for the team’s backup goalie job, made 20 saves in the victory. By the end of the race he was over six seconds clear of his rival Toni Elias as he stormed his third Motul Superbike win of the season. Source link
VR46 Master Camp students step up their game on Day Two
Marco Bell (Flat Track Champion): “On the second day of the Yamaha VR46 Master Camp we focused on getting into corners, how to back the bike in, the right line and the correct position of the bike when you enter the turn. These are really key points, so if you are able to do that, you have done already 50% of the work, because it makes it that much easier to exit out of the corner, but it's really difficult to do it right. It's a matter of balance and body position on the lean angle. The more you know your body, the easier it gets, because you get more and more used to reacting quickly whilst on the bike.
Oklahoma State Punter Creates Hilarious ’90s-Style Website For Heisman Campaign
Share this: Oklahoma State’s Zach Sinor wants to be the first punter to win the Heisman Trophy, and he has a pretty awesome website to make his case. Sinor certainly has accomplished a lot in just two seasons with the Cowboys, finishing his sophomore season as the nation’s leader in percentage of punts downed inside the opponent’s 20-yard line (62.5 percent), number of punts downed inside the opponent’s 20-yard line (35) and opponents’ starting field position. But if that wasn’t enough to convince you he’s the best player in college football — it probably wasn’t — then just check out some of his 1990s-inspired website. Sinor was born in 1995, so we’re not too sure how much of the decade he actually remembers,
