29 riders have registered to compete in the ADAC Northern Europe Cup powered by KTM, of which 14 are rookies. Among them is Jan-Ole Jähnig (16, GER), who is now moving up to this higher class after finishing championship runner-up in the ADAC Junior Cup powered by KTM: "Making the switch wasn't easy, but after an initial test run in Hockenheim last year and this series of training days now, we are all set for the season to come. Chris Sale earned a no-decision in his Red Sox debut pitching seven scoreless innings with seven strikeouts, three hits, and one walk on 104 pitches. Joe Kelly earned the win pitching two innings of relief allowing just one hit. Leon was thrown out at the plate trying to score earlier in the game but had his redemption when he smashed the ball over the Green Monster for his first home run of the season to win the game. For the first time ever, the Americans will play in the WBC title game thanks to a 2-1 semifinal victory Tuesday night over Japan at a rainy Dodger Stadium. Tuesday’s game was close throughout, and the difference ended up being an Adam Jones — remember him? — RBI groundout in the top of the eighth inning. Brandon Crawford scored the winning run. As for the rest of the scoring, Andrew McCutchen gave Team USA the early lead when he drove in a run in the top of the fourth. Share this: There was a marquee matchup in the World Baseball Classic on Saturday night, as the United States took on the defending champion Dominican Republic at Marlins Park in Miami. Team USA held a two-run lead in the bottom of the eighth inning when Nelson Cruz launched a three-run home run off Andrew Miller to give the Dominican Republic the lead. And former Boston Red Sox slugger David Ortiz loved what he saw. Ortiz was a member of the Dominican Republic team that won the 2013 World Baseball Classic. Although it hadn’t seemed like it, the controlled exterior of Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team) was taking some effort – with MotorLand Aragon proving the mental oasis after a long run of races with no dry win. Knowing he had the pace and that the track was perfectly suited to him, Marquez even said in the pre-event Press Conference that MotorLand was a track on which he would attack, and attack he did. Seahawks Punter Loses Ball, Gets Crushed, Fumbles On Bizarre Trick Play

Share this: Punters are not supposed to take the kind of punishment Seattle Seahawks punter Jon Ryan took in the fourth quarter of Thursday night’s game against the Los Angeles Rams. Ryan took off on a fake punt and had acres of open space ahead of him. Near the end of Ryan’s run, he began to lose control of the ball, and right as he maintained a firm grip again he was crushed by a Rams player. It was ruled a fumble and the Rams recovered, but the play was reviewed and Seattle maintained possession of the football. Ryan immediately was placed into the concussion protocol.
