Man Claims Daughter Still Would Be Alive If She Wasn’t Driving Tesla

Share this: Teslas are remarkable vehicles, but are they too powerful? One man certainly thinks so. Jon Speckman, whose daughter Casey died in Indianapolis on Nov. 3 after driving intoxicated and crashing her boss’ Tesla Model S into a tree, is claiming that his daughter still would be alive if she was driving any vehicle other than a Telsa, The Indianapolis Star reports. Speckman’s boss, Kevin McCarthy, also died n the accident. It’s recently acquired video surveillance footage, though, that has Speckman calling foul on Tesla. Video shows that prior to colliding with the tree, Casey had to avoid a wrong-way driver. And while Speckman acknowledges that his daughter should not have been driving intoxicated, in an interview with the IndyStar on Feb. 10, he claims

Patrice Bergeron Gets Bruins On Board With Deflection Goal In 4-3 Win

Share this: The Boston Bruins were trailing 1-0 during the second period of their game against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Tuesday night. Then Patrice Bergeron struck at the 18:08 mark in the period thanks to Brad Marchand’s speed in the neutral zone. The B’s would go on to win 4-3, capturing their third consecutive victory. Improvements In Bruins’ Overall Game Evident In Win Over Blue Jackets

Share this: Just about everything went well for the Boston Bruins on Thursday. The B’s earned a 5-2 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets, and four of those goals were scored by either a defenseman or bottom-six forwards. Secondary scoring production can’t get much better than that. And the one goal that did come from the top two lines was David Backes’ first score since the season opener. But that wasn’t the only good thing Bruins coach Claude Julien saw from his squad. “I think our overall game is coming around,” Julien told NESN’s Andy Brickley and Jack Edwards on “Bruins Overtime Live.” “We’ve been good lately with special teams, and even if we didn’t score (Thursday night) on our power play, we still had some

Dovizioso: “I decided to not go crazy!”

Andrea Dovizioso (P2): “I started quite well and Valentino didn’t, but we went for the same bit of track and I lost some positions. I decided not to push 100% then and not be crazy, because I saw Marc and Valentino had more speed than me – then after Valentino crashed I tried to push and catch Lorenzo. He didn’t seem 100% after his crash, he wasn’t riding like normal, but he was still so fast. I tried to catch him without pushing too hard and risking too much, and then I decided with five to go that I would overtake him – but he made a mistake. Then I saw on the pit board that Maverick was close and

Tom Brady Credits Patriots Improved Deep Passing Game With Work On Mechanics

Share this: FOXBORO, Mass. — Tom Brady’s deep ball was in vintage form Sunday, when he hit wide receiver Chris Hogan in stride on two of the better vertical passes the quarterback has thrown since Randy Moss left the New England Patriots in 2010. Brady completed 42- and 52-yard heaves to Hogan in the second quarter of the Patriots’ 33-13 win over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, leading one to ponder whether he worked on his deep ball this offseason, including the four weeks in which he was suspended. “Yeah, I’ve always worked pretty hard on my mechanics and making sure I’m doing things the right way mechanically,” Brady said. “I think that’s translated into a lot of throws, but hopefully I can hit those ones down the

Future Is Now For Red Sox As Yoan Moncada Gets Call Up To Boston

Share this: As you’ve probably heard by now, the Yoan Moncada Era officially began for the Boston Red Sox on Friday. The infielder was called up to the big leagues, where he’s expected to play a lot at third base. He also has the ability to put up big numbers at the plate — .910 OPS in 45 games with Double-A Portland this season — and on the basepaths with his speed. Hear what NESN’s Adam Pellerin and Jim Rice had to say about Moncada in the video from “Red Sox First Pitch” above. Thumbnail photo via Jake Roth/USA TODAY Sports Images More Stories Source link
