Throngs of students camped out outside Paterno's residence in a show of support for Paterno who has been heavily criticized for his role in the Jerry Sandusky saga.  Students repeatedly chanted for Paterno, and he obliged on two occasions. In a bizarre scene, Paterno addressed the students at first from his front door. Later, he came out to his front lawn for a quick interaction with the students. See
