O.J. Mayo Gets Ejected, Goes After Official During Bucks-Timberwolves Game (Video)

O.J. Mayo didn’t see the end of Saturday’s Milwaukee Bucks-Minnesota Timberwolves game, and he might not see the floor again for a while following his post-ejection actions. The Bucks guard received a technical foul after he lobbied a bit too hard for a foul call on Karl-Anthony Towns. He didn’t stop arguing with an official, which led to him getting ejected from the game. Instead of heading back to the locker room, though, Mayo had to be restrained when he tried to go after the official. This is not a good look for the NBA veteran, and more penalties probably are on their way. Thumbnail photo via Kirby Lee/USA TODAY Sports Image...

Miami Completes Miracle Comeback With Eight Laterals On Final Play (Video)

The ending to Saturday’s No. 11 Duke-Miami football game was one you need to see to believe. The Blue Devils appeared to have salvaged their undefeated ACC record with a touchdown with six seconds remaining in the game. All they had to do was prevent some crazy, last-ditch effort by the Hurricanes on the ensuing kickoff. Easier said than done. WOW! Miami completed eight laterals on the play, which was ruled a touchdown after a review determined there was no block in the back. That gave Miami the 30-27 win. College football, where even the impossible is possible. Thumbnail photo via Twitter/@ESPNCFB

With the New England Patriots having already defeated the Miami Dolphins in a Thursday night matchup, Edelman and several of his teammates decided to spend Friday night at TD Garden, where the Boston Celtics were hosting the Toronto Raptors. The Patriots crew was shown on the Garden’s Jumbotron during the fourth quarter, and Edelman used the o...

Clippers’ Austin Rivers Threw Seat Cushion, Reportedly Hit Fan (Video)

Austin Rivers might have some explaining to do. Rivers, the son of former Boston Celtics coach Doc Rivers and now a guard for his father’s Los Angeles Clippers, is being investigated for an incident in which he threw a seat cushion into the crowd and hit a fan, USA Today’s Sam Amick reports, citing a person with knowledge of the situation. The incident, which occurred in the fourth quarter of the Clippers’ game Wednesday against the Sacramento Kings at Sleep Train Arena, was caught on video, as can be seen below. The woman who was hit “was clearly experiencing discomfort in her eyes for quite some time after the incident,” according to Amick.

Mike Ditka Probably Farted On Live TV; Cris Carter Can’t Believe It (Video)

Mike Ditka brought a new meaning to “The Windy City” on Monday. Possibly. Sitting in studio for ESPN’s “Monday Night Countdown,” NFL Hall of Famer and legendary Chicago Bears tight end and coach Mike Ditka farted. On live TV. At least we think it was him, based on the reactions of everyone around him. Cris Carter’s utter shock and Chris Berman’s total disbelief (plus a sly grin from Ditka) sort of tell the story here, but the world may never know. It could have just been an odd technical malfunction or a fantastic prank. Then again, Ditka — who turned 76 Sunday — has earned the right to do whatever the heck
