Cowboys QB Tony Romo Breaks Bone In Back, Reportedly Could Miss 10 Weeks
Another year, another terrible injury for Tony Romo. A suggestion: Olympic golf should have a team format
By Doug Ferguson AP Golf Writer RIO DE JANEIRO (AP) — For all the praise of golf’s return to the Olympics, there was no shortage of suggestions to make it better. The easy fix is to introduce a team format. All golf leaders had to do for the Rio Games was to combine the scores of the top two players from each country to provide a team medal. There would have been 24 teams for the men and women. For the men, Sweden would have won by one shot over the Americans, and Justin Rose’s birdie putt to win the gold medal also would have given Britain the bronze medal by one shot over Spain. That said, we can’t just look at Sunday night’s match card and expect a clean sweep for the favorites. Something, or someone, will shock us. It’s in that spirit that NESN.com’s Pat Bradley (@PatBradley_) and Ricky Doyle (@TheRickyDoyle) took a shot at a few of
Report: Tom Brady Missed Patriots-Bears Game After Scissors Accident
by Zack Cox on Thu, Aug 18, 2016 at 8:42PM 1,539 Share this: Tom Brady surprisingly was held out of Thursday’s preseason game between the New England Patriots and the Chicago Bears. We now know why. Curran reported. “Apparently, Brady was trying to pry something from the bottom of his cleat prior to taking the field and sustained the cut,” Curran wrote. “It’s not known whether the cut required stitches or how long the wound will put him on the sidelines.” It was widely reported that Brady, who missed New England’s preseason opener last week, would start under center Thursday night, with
