Red Sox Notes: David Ortiz, Jackie Bradley Jr. Lead Boston To Fourth Straight Wi…

Share this: Even when David Ortiz is slumping, he still finds ways to come up big for Boston. The Red Sox slugger was batting just .216 in August heading into Monday’s game against the Cleveland Indians and was obviously frustrated after his first two at-bats, during which he popped out and grounded into a double play. Bill Belichick Taunts Colts-Fan David Letterman: ‘It Was Only A 38-Point Win’

Bill Belichick might have smiled more in his appearance on the “Late Show with David Letterman” than in all of 2014 combined. The New England Patriots head coach was funny and laid back in his talk show appearance, and some of his best moments came when he was taunting Letterman, a huge Indianapolis Colts fan. “You pretty much extinguished my Colts,” Letterman said. “How do you feel about that?” “Well, it was only a 38-point win,” Belichick said smiling about the Patriots’ 45-7 AFC Championship Game win. When the subject turned to running back LeGarrette Blount, Belichick got another dig in. “He had a good gam...
