Floyd Mayweather Berates Conor McGregor, Wants To Make Fight Happen

The Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor super bout has shown no real signs of coming to fruition, but the two fighters never hesitate to take shots at one another. The latest soundbite came by way of Mayweather, who blasted “Notorious” for failing to stand behind his words. “Conor McGregor, stop blowing smoke up people’s ass you little (expletive),” Mayweather told FightHype, as transcribed by FOX Sports. “If you want to fight, let’s make it happen you punk. Conor McGregor you don’t even want to fight you little (expletive), you little punk. Let’s make it happen.” Both athletes have consistently broadcasted their interest in t... NESN.com

Celebrities Butcher ‘Sweet Caroline’ In Sing-Along At 2017 Grammys

Share this: Singing “Sweet Caroline” during the middle of the eighth inning is a Fenway Park tradition, so it’s not surprising that Boston Red Sox fans would take offense when the words to one of their anthems are butchered. Enter comedian James Corden and the many celebrities who joined him in a karaoke version of the popular Neil Diamond song at the 2017 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles. Corden brought a fake car into the award show and conducted an impromptu sing-along of “Sweet Caroline” with Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, Tim McGraw and Diamond himself, among others. Unfortunately for all of those involved, most of the members of the carpool karaoke didn’t exactly know all of the lyrics. As you can imagine, the Twitter reaction was

Falcons Coach Bryan Cox Quotes Bill Belichick To Team Before Super Bowl LI

Share this: HOUSTON — New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick’s words are being used against him before Super Bowl LI. Atlanta Falcons defensive line coach Bryan Cox played under Belichick on the 1998 and 1999 New York Jets on the 2001 Patriots’ Super Bowl XXXVI championship team. So now he’s imparting wisdom from Belichick to his own players as they prepare to play the Patriots on Sunday. “The biggest thing I pass along, probably from Bill, is the “Do Your Job” slogan,” Cox said Monday at Super Bowl Opening Night. “That thing ain’t new. That thing started a long time ago. It started as far back as I remember, ’98. But at the end of the day, you learn great things from

Mohamed Sanu, Logan Ryan Texted Eyes Emojis After AFC Championship Game

Share this: FOXBORO, Mass. — Mohamed Sanu and Logan Ryan haven’t exchanged words since the Super Bowl LI matchup was decided, but they did swap emojis. Sanu and Ryan might feel like they’re back in Piscataway, N.J. next Sunday in the Super Bowl when they line up across from each other at NRG Stadium in Houston. Sanu, an Atlanta Falcons wide receiver, and Ryan, a New England Patriots cornerback, were teammates at Rutgers for three seasons and suitemates for two of those. They were recruited in the same college class as defensive backs until Sanu was forced to move from safety to receiver before his freshman season. The two practiced against each other frequently. “He won his, I won mine,” Ryan said. “I think we’ll see

Jae Crowder, John Wall At Center Of Celtics-Wizards Postgame Scuffle

Share this: Things got a little chippy between the Boston Celtics and Washington Wizards on Wednesday night at TD Garden. Following the C’s 117-108 win, Wizards point guard John Wall and Celtics forward Jae Crowder exchanged words on the court, and then things got a little more physical. A few Celtics came to the defense of Crowder, none of them more heated than guard Marcus Smart. Marcus Smart in a post-game scrum with about half the #Wizards players. He gets pulled away by team security. #Celtics — gary washburn (@GwashburnGlobe) January 12, 2017 Smart got in a scuffle with Wizards guard Bradley Beal during the third quarter after the two got tangled up, and both continued to exchange words during the postgame altercation. Savage Thunder Mascot Taunts Kid After Destroying Him In Musical Chairs

Share this: Some people are just more competitive than others. In the spirit of Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook, who destroys his opponents mercilessly night in and night out, Rumble the Bison, the team’s official mascot, got ultra competitive during an intermission game of musical chairs during OKC’s final preseason game Tuesday night, a 97-87 victory over the Denver Nuggets. Observe. Not only did Rumble just destroy this poor kid in musical chairs, he actually taunted him as he (hilariously) walks away completely defeated. There’s really no other words to describe this video, so if you need us we’ll be watching it on repeat for a while. Thumbnail photo via Mark D. Smith/USA TODAY Sports Images More Stories Source link

Sidney Crosby Makes Jeremy Roenick Eat Words With Game-Winning Goal

Sidney Crosby has amazing talent, but that didn’t stop former NHL player and current NBC Sports hockey analyst Jeremy Roenick from criticizing the Pittsburgh Penguins star during Game 2 of the Eastern Conference final. And it didn’t take very long for these choice words to come back and bite Roenick. Roenick picked a rather unfortunate night to rip Crosby for his effort, as the center evened the series with the Tampa Bay Lightning at one game apiece with his game-winning goal 40 seconds into overtime in the Penguins’ 3-2 win. That certainly looked like plenty of effort on that play. Thumbnail photo via Charles LeClaire/USA ...
