Yamaha and Tech 3 to part ways in 2019

Team Manager Herve Poncharal echoes many of those sentiments, and adds: “To summarize 20 years of an incredible partnership between Tech3 and Yamaha in a few words is a very difficult mission. Since I first met Mr. Iio in 1998, where he gave me the opportunity to join Yamaha Motor Corporation, it has been an extraordinary journey together. All I remember are fantastic memories, great results, an awesome atmosphere and astonishing feelings we shared with the Yamaha family, which will always be in my mind and in my heart. Clearly, to end that kind of partnership is a big decision for me. All I want to say is more than a huge thank you to Yamaha, to Mr. Tsuji, Mr.

Did Conor McGregor Close Door On Possible Floyd Mayweather Rematch?

Did Conor McGregor Close Door On Possible Floyd Mayweather Rematch?

Maybe Floyd Mayweather Jr. is done with combat sports after all. Mayweather initially hung up his gloves after his 49th boxing victory, but he came out of retirement for a superfight with Conor McGregor, which Mayweather won via 10th-round TKO. The Mayweather-McGregor feud didn’t end after the late-summer clash, though, as the two superstars continued the war of words via social media. And as the trash talk intensified, rumors began to circulate that there would be a rematch, only this time it would be in the octagon. It’s unclear how legitimate this UFC megabout really is, but it appears Money Mayweather might be shying away from the idea. In an Instagram photo ... NESN.com

J.J. Watt Takes Pretty Blatant Shot At Lonzo Ball, Big Baller Brand Shoes

Share this: J.J. Watt is a man of the people. Just look at the price of his new shoes. The Houston Texans defensive end has a new training shoe that will debut early Friday morning for $99. While that number might seem like a lot, it’s nowhere close to the $495 price tag for Lonzo Ball’s Big Baller Brand shoes. And Watt made sure to point that out on Twitter. And Watt wasn’t done there. Watt likely was referencing the fact that Ball wore Nike shoes instead of his ZO2 Primes during the Lakers’ NBA Summer League game on Wednesday. So, could we have a new feud to go along with the war of words between the family patriarch, LaVar Ball, and, well, a lot of people? Thumbnail

Zidane: ‘No words can do Cristiano Ronaldo justice’

How would you analyse your time in charge of Real Madrid since taking over in early 2016?I'm happy to have been given this opportunity. It's not an easy job, but it's a passion for me. Now I have the opportunity to coach this wonderful club, so I really get to live my passion from day to day. Ducks’ Ryan Getzlaf Apologizes (Sort Of) After $10K Fine For Using Gay Slur

Share this: Ryan Getzlaf is the latest professional athlete to be punished for a poor choice of words. The NHL on Saturday fined the Anaheim Ducks center $10,000 for directing a gay slur at a referee during Game 4 of his team’s Western Conference finals matchup against the Nashville Predators. Television cameras caught Getzlaf barking at a referee while on the ice, then appearing to use the gay slur after he sat down on the bench. “Getzlaf’s comment in Thursday’s game, particularly as directed to another individual on the ice, was inappropriately demeaning and disrespectful, and crossed the line into behavior that we deem unacceptable,”  the NHL said in a statement. “The type of language chosen and utilized in this instance will not be tolerated

Watch Fred Hoiberg Walk Out On Reporters After Isaiah Thomas Dribbling Question

Share this: BOSTON — Fred Hoiberg had some words to say about Isaiah Thomas’ ball-handling Wednesday night for the second straight game. Well, more like “word.” After Chicago’s 108-97 Game 5 loss to the Celtics at TD Garden, the Bulls coach was asked if he thought Boston guard Isaiah Thomas carried the ball during the contest. Given Hoiberg’s eye-opening remarks about Thomas’ dribbling (or lack thereof) after Game 4, it seemed like a fair question. But Hoiberg was having absolutely none of it.
