White Sox Pull Off Second Triple Play Of Season, Killing Late Astros Rally

The Chicago White Sox completed a rare feat Wednesday night … for the second time this season.

With runners on first and second and no outs in the eighth inning, Chicago turned a 5-4-3 triple play.

Incredibly, it was the second time this season Chicago has turned a triple play. It didn’t provide enough spark to come back and defeat the Houston Astros, though, and the Sox fell 5-3.
