An 89-year-old girl was killed in a crash Monday in north suburban unincorporated Zion.
She was driving a Dodge Grand Caravan about 12:15 p.m. when it pulled ahead from a cease signal on northbound Kenosha Road at Russell Road, the Lake County sheriff’s workplace mentioned in an announcement. A field truck heading east on Russell slammed into the driving force’s facet of the minivan.
The girl was taken to Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, the place she died later Monday afternoon, sheriff’s workplace spokesman Sgt. Christopher Covelli mentioned. The 69-year-old man driving the truck was not harm.
