A cellphone thief sexually assaulted a lady close to Millennium Park Tuesday after she chased him from a CTA Red Line station within the Loop.
The 27-year-old had simply gotten off a Red Line prepare close to State and Lake streets about four a.m. when a male suspect grabbed her cellphone and took off, in line with Chicago police.
She chased him to the 100 block of East Randolph Street, the place he sexually assaulted her, police mentioned. The suspect then ran away.
The lady was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, the place her situation was stabilized, police mentioned.
No one is in custody as Area Central detectives examine.
