Share this: New York Knicks owner James Dolan has a history of treating fans — and former players — harshly and accusing them of being drunk. So, it’s not surprising that Dolan got into an argument with a season ticket holder Tuesday night outside of Madison Square Garden, and then accused the fan of being intoxicated. Deadspin’s Dave McKenna reported Wednesday that Dolan and Mike Hamersky, a lawyer and self-proclaimed Knicks superfan, got into an altercation that ended with Dolan calling Hamerksy an a–hole. And Dolan responded to the report by admitting it. “I did call him an a–hole,” Dolan said, per McKenna. “Because he is an a–hole.” Hamersky said he told Dolan to sell the team, and Dolan marched toward him and started yelling. “What if

Honda’s F1 Engineers Were Laughably Overconfident Going Into 2017 Season
Share this: Honda has a reputation for reliable engines in its road cars, so some might have assumed it would be able to make significant gains before the 2017 Formula One World Championship began. Its engineers apparently also thought so, though the improvements they expected to see were too large. Honda F1 technical chief Yusuke Hasegawa revealed Wednesday he and his team thought — with the engine token system scrapped — its power unites could start the season with as much horsepower as Mercedes’ had at the end of 2016, according to Motorsport.com. That mountain simply was too high to climb, however. For perspective, during qualifying for the 2016 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the fastest McLaren-Honda was more than 2 seconds per lap slower than the
Dale Earnhardt Jr. Was In No Mood To Talk To Ryan Blaney After Wrecking
Share this: Dale Earnhardt Jr. hasn’t had a great start to the 2017 NASCAR season, something his run-in with Ryan Blaney during Sunday’s STP 500 did nothing to help. Apparently Blaney wants to bury the hatchet, but Earnhardt still is a little salty. Blaney, a friend of Earnhardt’s, attempted to call the Hendrick Motorsports driver following Sunday’s race. Earnhardt, though, gave Blaney the stiff arm, and wants the world to know about it. Ouch. At least Blaney has a new high-profile buddy in Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout to lean on for support, though. The incident that has Earnhardt so standoffish occurred late in Stage 1 at Martinsville Speedway. Earnhardt and his No. 88 Chevrolet appeared to get loose, eventually spinning out after Blaney’s No.

NFL Rumors: Tony Romo Going To CBS, Will Replace Phil Simms As Top Analyst
Share this: We now know where Tony Romo will land for the 2017 NFL season, and it’s in the TV booth and not the football field. Sports Business Journal reported Tuesday morning, citing sources, that Romo will replace Phil Simms as the lead NFL color analyst for CBS during the 2017 season. According to the report, the two sides haven’t hammered out the details and nothing has been signed, but the two sides do have an agreement. Romo will work alongside the network’s top play-by-play man Jim Nantz. An official announcement is expected at some point Tuesday, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Interestingly, Romo going to CBS likely means he’ll do a lot of AFC games despite spending his entire career in the NFC
