But the best laid plans often go awry. That’s exactly what happened in this thrilling college basketball matchup. Behind junior guard Bryson Scott’s game-high 18 points, the Fort Wayne Mastodons upset the Hoosiers in overtime, 71-68. This one fan’s reaction pretty much summed up how all IU fans were feeling Tuesday night, though. Thumbnail photo via screenshot via Twitter/@cjzero More Stories Source link

Ray Lewis Apologizes To Joe Flacco After Questioning Ravens QB’s Passion
Share this: Ray Lewis’ playing days — and days as an ESPN NFL analyst — are over, but he’s still finding ways to stir up controversy. The former Baltimore Ravens linebacker, known for speaking his mind, did just that last week on the topic of quarterback Joe Flacco. In an appearance on FOX Sports 1’s “Speak For Yourself,” Lewis questioned Flacco’s passion for the game. “There is something called talent, right?” Lewis said. “And you see it a dime a dozen. And then there’s something called being passionate about what you do. About really what you do. And being around it — gifted? Absolutely. Passionate about what he (does)? I’ve never seen that. I don’t know what that looks like.” They’re interesting comments from Lewis,
Blues’ Road Woes Could Spell Good News For Bruins In Game At TD Garden
Share this: The St. Louis Blues might as well be two different teams. At home, the Blues are 8-1-2 and pretty much unstoppable. They are scoring an average of 2.5 goals in those games, while allowing only 1.5 goals per contest. But the road Blues have been a different story. St. Louis is 2-5-1 away from home, and while they still are averaging 2.5 goals per game, their goals against average is 4.1 in those games. That sounds like music to the Boston Bruins’ ears, as they’ll welcome the Blues to TD Garden on Tuesday night. Adrian Peterson Injury: Vikings Star Could Return In December, Per Report
Share this: The Minnesota Vikings broke a four-game skid Sunday with a huge win over the Arizona Cardinals, and more good news might be on the horizon. Ben Goessling of ESPN.com has reported, citing league sources, that superstar running back Adrian Peterson could return to the Vikings sometime in December. Peterson suffered a meniscus tear in his right knee in Week 2 and needed to have surgery. The Vikings desperately need him back, too. They rank dead last in the NFL with 2.7 yards per rushing attempt and 70 rushing yards per game. It’s made their offense one-dimensional and was a major reason why they lost four straight games after a 5-0 start. Minnesota visits the Detroit Lions on Thursday for a pivotal NFC

Genie Bouchard Appears To Be Enjoying Bahamas Vacation During Downtime
Share this: There’s not much time for tennis stars to take vacations during the summer, so now’s as good a time as any for them to head to the tropics. One of those notable tennis players is Genie Bouchard, whose Instagram is full of pictures of the Canadian women’s tennis star enjoying some downtime in the Bahamas. Bouchard, who has been ranked as high as No. 7 in the season-ending rankings, is coming off an up-and down season after injury issues in 2015, and she’s currently No. 46 in the world. But there’s no better way to relax and recharge before preparing for January’s Australian Open than in the Bahamas.
