Iconic singer/songwriter Leonard Cohen has died at the age of 82, his official Facebook page confirmed Thursday night. Importance Of Rob Gronkowski, Martellus Bennett For Patriots Can’t Be Overstated
Share this: One of the many things New England Patriots fans were looking forward to this season was how the two-tight end sets with Rob Gronkowski and Martellus Bennett would look like. But the results so far have been mixed. The Gronk-Bennett duo was on full display was in the Patriots’ win over the Cleveland Browns in Tom Brady’s first game back from his four-game Deflategate suspension. Gronk didn’t have a touchdown, but he did haul in 109 receiving yards on five catches. Bennett, meanwhile, had three touchdowns and 67 yards receiving. So, will New England get that sort of performance out of Gronkowski and Bennett on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks? NESN.com’s Michaela Vernava and Matt Chatham discussed that and more in the video from “NESN
MLB Rumors: Pirates Discussed Andrew McCutchen Blockbuster Trade
Share this: The Pirates had an underwhelming 2016 season, finishing five games under .500 and missing the playoffs for the first time since 2012. No player symbolized Pittsburgh’s regression more than All-Star center fielder Andrew McCutchen. Well, as it turns out, the Pirates actually considered trading McCutchen before the Major League Baseball non-waiver trade deadline, major league sources told FOX Sports’ Ken Rosenthal. The Pirates, who traded All-Star closer Mark Melancon to the Nationals before the July 31 deadline, reportedly discussed a separate blockbuster with Washington involving McCutchen. Sources told Rosenthal the potential McCutchen deal fell apart due to the large number of moving parts. It’s unclear whether the Pirates and Nationals will revisit their discussions this offseason, though Rosenthal notes it’s unlikely given
Iman Shumpert Simply Cannot Believe The White House Podium Is Portable
Share this: Sometimes, the smallest things in life can leave us in wonder. Just ask Iman Shumpert, whose Cleveland Cavaliers paid a visit to the White House on Thursday to celebrate their 2016 NBA championship. As is custom, the Cavs posed for a group photo with Barack Obama, but the president’s podium was in the shot, so he had some staffers move it. Seems pretty routine, right? Not so for Shumpert, who was downright amazed when Obama’s aides magically whisked the podium away. Good luck finding anything that will leave you in as much awe as this momentous event left Shumpert. What makes this even better is that Shumpert’s teammates don’t seem to share his wonderment, leaving him looking around as if to say, “Is anyone

Graham is enjoying a resurgence this season after recovering from the torn patellar tendon that ended his lackluster 2015 campaign. He has 38 catches for 545 yards and three touchdowns in eight games after catching just two touchdown passes all of last season. “I have a super-high level of respect for Jimmy Graham, especially with what happened to him last year and the way he came back and bounced back,” said Gronkowski, who’s dealt with several serious injuries since
Celtics’ Marcus Smart Has Words For John Wall After Apparent Cheap Shot
Share this: The Boston Celtics didn’t put up much of a fight Wednesday night, but things still managed to get interesting in the fourth quarter. The Washington Wizards led Boston by 20 points with under six minutes remaining at Verizon Center when Celtics guard Marcus Smart dribbled into a double team in his own end. John Wall trapped Smart, but rather than go for the ball, the Wizards guard instead tossed Smart pretty forcefully to the ground. Never one to back down from a conflict, Smart immediately started jawing at Wall. The referees hit Smart with a technical foul, but Wall received the most severe punishment, getting ejected from the game after being assessed a flagrant two. It was a pretty strange show of
What Will Major League Baseball Do To Improve Pace Of Play Going Forward?
Share this: There were many encouraging signs during the 2015 season about improving pace of play in Major League Baseball, but that progress seemingly was nowhere to be found during the 2016 postseason. So, what will baseball do going forward?
