Share this: For New England Patriots fans hungry for football, Thursday’s training camp practice served as the bread and butter served even before appetizers. NFL teams are not allowed to conduct full-contact practices on the first day of training camp, so the Patriots were on the field in shells and shorts in a continuation of spring practices. The bleachers were so packed with fans to watch the Super Bowl LI-defending Patriots that the team had to open the Gillette Stadium ramps for standing room. Quarterback Tom Brady received the loudest chants and cheers when he ran onto the practice field with his TB12 hat. Here’s our full list of observations from practice. — Brady performed better in team drills than Jimmy Garoppolo, which is expected,

After a thrilling win in Super Bowl LI, the Patriots were extremely active this offseason, bringing in marquee talent such as Stephon Gilmore and Brandin Cooks. And while the football world is speculating whether the Patriots can post an undefeated season in the upcoming campaign, the Pats themselves aren’t buying into the noise. USA Vs. Jamaica Live: USMNT Wins Gold Cup Final On Jordan Morris’ Late Goal
Share this: Final, 2-1 United States: The referee blows the final whistle, and the United States wins the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup. The USA wins for the first time since 2013, having topped Jamaica in a hard-fought final. Jozy Altidore gave USA the lead on the stroke of halftime with a stunning free kick, but Je-Vaughn Watson restored the parity just five minutes after the break. Patriots Could Go 19-0 In 2017, But Bill Belichick Won’t Address It
Share this: FOXBORO, Mass. — The New England Patriots are victims of both their unprecedented success and lack of recent controversy. Without scandals or suspensions to beat like a dead horse (or Colt, maybe?), the topic has turned to whether the Patriots will lose a game during the upcoming season. It’s actually not an absurd conversation to have, as most teams try to improve upon their last season. For Patriots rivals like the Denver Broncos or New York Jets, that means making the playoffs or winning more games than they lost. The Patriots went 14-2 and won Super Bowl LI a season ago, and there’s really not a whole ways up to go from there. In completely unsurprising news, head coach Bill Belichick wasn’t down
Jon Jones, Brock Lesnar Both Showing Interest In Potential UFC Superfight
Share this: Jon Jones’ bout with Daniel Cormier at UFC 214 will be one of the most important fights of his career. The former Light Heavyweight Champion could have an even bigger fight looming on the horizon, though. In a recent Facebook Live chat, Jones surprised many by saying he’d love to fight former UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar, although he wouldn’t expect Lesnar to agree to such a fight. But Lesnar, who currently competes in the WWE, apparently is ready to go. “Would I fight Jon Jones? Anytime, anywhere,” Lesnar told The Associated Press on Tuesday. “Right now he should be worried about (UFC 214) on Saturday night.” Obviously, Lesnar would present a huge challenge for Jones, and “Bones” knows it. “He’s a massive
NBA Rumors: T-Wolves Exploring Kyrie Irving Trade With ‘Incredible Seriousness’
Share this: It appears the Minnesota Timberwolves aren’t messing around when it comes to Kyrie Irving. The T-Wolves, allegedly one of Irving’s preferred destinations in a trade, are intensifying their pursuit of the Cleveland Cavaliers point guard, according to The Associated Press’ Jon Krawczynski. Exactly who Minnesota is willing to part with, though, apparently remains unclear. Shortly after SportsTalk Minnesota’s tweet, Krawczynski clarified things a bit. To be clear: Said Wolves are exploring Kyrie trades w/incredible seriousness. Still don't know if they would part w/Wiggins to do it. https://t.co/l060XdXZzd — Jon Krawczynski (@APkrawczynski) July 26, 2017 Regardless of whether they’re willing to part with Andrew Wiggins, who began his career in Cleveland, all indications are that the T-Wolves are legitimate front runners in the Irving sweepstakes.
