Marquez briefly dislocates shoulder in Jerez
After rain stopped play on the first day of a planned two day private test at the Circuito de Jerez for Repsol Honda Team's Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa, action got underway on Day 2 with an unwelcome outcome for the reigning Champion. Marquez, who has been in the top echelons of the timesheets throughout pre-season, crashed at Turn 7 and briefly dislocated his right shoulder. Medical checks show neither further damage nor any other injuries, and the rider from Cervera should be fit to finish preseason testing ahead of the first race of the season. Source link

Adam Norrodin: “Firstly I want to say a big thank you to the whole team; everyone has worked so hard these last four days and also to SIC for this opportunity to test here. We have been pushing a lot and have achieved what we set out to do here, so I’m very happy. The new bike is great and we found a good base set-up here at Sepang, so it’s been a very positive first test. For sure we still have a lot of work to do before the first race in Qatar, but I’m feeling really motivated for this season. Folger hits the top four: fastest rookie at Phillip Island
Jonas Folger, P4: "Today was another good day and we can head home feeling positive for the future and happy about what we accomplished at Phillip Island. This morning, I got straight to work and I was able to cut my lap time further, which was a strong start. After that, the team and I tried a lot of settings on the bike but I was never 100% sure about which direction was the best one to take, despite the rhythm being quite good. Then, I started a race simulation but after three or four laps, I crashed at turn six. I returned to the track on my second bike that had a different setting, and after completing eleven laps
Crutchlow positive about pace
CC35, P5: “We were happy with today’s test, and even though we were unable to set a fast lap time this was just down to a couple of slight problems in the morning when the track was in the best shape. That was when the temperature was good and the faster laps went in for other riders. The priority for our day, however, was to do a long run and get some more information for Honda.
