Jets Fans Mock Tom Brady With ‘See You Later Deflator’ T-Shirts (Photo)

New England Patriots fans already are selling T-shirts in support of Tom Brady, so New York Jets fans naturally had to get in on the Brady-wear trend. While “Free Brady” shirts were being printed in New England after the NFL handed the Patriots quarterback a four-game suspension for his role in DeflateGate, Jets fans created something slightly different. It’s to be expected that rival teams, especially those in the AFC East, will have a field day with Brady’s suspension. But New York fans might want to hold back until midseason, as they actually will see Brady later — the Patriots meet the Jets in Weeks 7 and 16, after the signal-caller ret...

Donald Trump Tweets Support For ‘Friend,’ ‘Total Winner’ Tom Brady

Tom Brady has a friend in Donald Trump. The real estate mogul joined the likes of Tedy Bruschi and Chris Christie on Friday afternoon, as he came to the defense of the New England Patriots quarterback who is embroiled in controversy following the release of the DeflateGate report. Trump is very clearly Team Brady, explaining in a tweet that the quarterback would have destroyed the Indianapolis Colts even if he used a soccer ball. Solid humblebrag by Mr. Trump adding that the two are pals, by the way. Making his first public appearance since the Wells Report came out on Wednesday, Brady dodged the majority of DeflateGate questions that were tosse...

Chip Kelly, Eagles Don’t Love Sam Bradford, But That’s OK In Today’s NFL

Sam Bradford is not the quarterback of Chip Kelly’s dreams. Neither, apparently, was Nick Foles, who the Eagles traded to acquire Bradford this offseason. But according to FootballbyFootball.com‘s Matt Chatham, that could actually be a good thing. The way Chatham explains it, most players in the NFL are not the ideal player their team would live to have at that position. Accepting that fact just gives you an empowering advantage. “Contracts give players a sense of security and ‘belonging’ to an organization,” Chatham explains. “But there’s a reason contract terms don’t extend into eternity.  When there’s a better opti...

Mark Wahlberg, Diddy Bet $250K On Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao (Videos)

Mark Wahlberg believes in Manny Pacquiao. Diddy believes in Floyd Mayweather. They’re both so confident, in fact, they’re each willing to risk $ 250,000 on their guy. After Wahlberg and Diddy placed their bet, the hefty total led some to speculate Diddy wouldn’t actually pay up if he lost. When Wahlberg was tracked down by TMZ, though, he assured the paparazzi the rapper/producer wasn’t able to chicken out. “Oh, he’s already paid,” Wahlberg told TMZSports. “It’s in escrow.” With that amount of money put down, the winner would almost be able to recoup the cost of the most expensive ticket, which was going...

Brock Holt’s Success Brings To Mind Other Top Utility Players (Photos)

Brock Holt seemingly can do it all. Utility players have become extra important in recent years with Major League Baseball teams looking for every avenue possible to exploit matchup advantages and keep regulars fresh. Holt has thrived in a super utility role with the Boston Red Sox, making him a very valuable commodity. Holt was the only player in MLB last season to start at first base, second base, third base, shortstop, left field, right field and center field. He also became the first Red Sox player ever to accomplish the feat, which is saying something given the organization’s illustrious history. Holt’s versatility alrea...
