East Garfield Park stabbing injures two males, Chicago police


Two males had been stabbed after somebody began attacking individuals on the sidewalk Thursday in East Garfield Park on the West Side, police mentioned.

About 9 p.m., a male on the sidewalk within the 500 block of South Pulaski Road pulled out a “sharp object” and began stabbing individuals round him, in keeping with Chicago police.

A 21-year-old man was lacerated on the arm and brought to Stroger hospital, police mentioned. Another man, 37, was lacerated on the stomach and took himself to the identical hospital. Both of their circumstances had been stabilized.

The suspected attacker ran off, and a motive was unclear, police mentioned. Area North detectives are investigating.
