Notre Dame senior wide receiver Torii Hunter Jr. took a hard hit to the head in the end zone during the third quarter of Sunday night’s Fighting Irish vs. Texas Longhorns matchup.
Hunter Jr., the son of former MLB All-Star Torii Hunter, initially caught the pass which would have been a go-ahead touchdown, but dropped the ball after taking the two hard hits. He appeared to go limp afterward, causing concern, but moved his extremities while on the ground and eventually walked off under his own power.
