by Zack Cox on Fri, Sep 16, 2016 at 12:02PM 2,039 Share this: FOXBORO, Mass. — It appears highly unlikely New England Patriots linebacker Dont’a Hightower will be healthy enough to play Sunday against the Miami Dolphins. Hightower, who suffered a knee injury in the Patriots’ Week 1 win over the Arizona Cardinals, missed his third consecutive practice Friday. The 26-year-old team captain has appeared in all 16 games just once in his four-year NFL career, and injuries limited him to 12 games in each of the last two seasons. Cornerback Eric Rowe also was absent after injuring his ankle during Thursday’s session. Every other Patriots player, including tight end Rob Gronkowski, who did not play against the Cardinals, was present at practice. Thumbnail photo via Stew Milne/USA TODAY Sports Images More

Jimmy Garoppolo’s Strategy For Patriots’ Season Opener? Just Be Jimmy
by Zack Cox on Tue, Sep 6, 2016 at 11:40AM 1,071 New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels said over the weekend he simply wants Jimmy Garoppolo to be himself as he prepares to fill Tom Brady’s sizable shoes. It sounds like that’s exactly what Garoppolo plans to do. “You can’t really overthink it,” the Patriots’ interim starting quarterback said Tuesday morning on WEEI’s “Kirk & Callahan.” “You can’t try to be fake about it, either. You have to ma... NESN.com
Viñales: "Today, we did it!"
Maverick Viñales (Team Suzuki Ecstar) had shown great pace all weekend at the British GP and lined up in third on the grid after carrying his dry form into a wet qualifying session. With an initial lead in the red-flagged first start, Viñales again took to the front on the restart and proved in a league of his own. The Spaniard pulled away from the pack lap after lap, with no one able to match him and eventually crossed the line over 3 seconds clear - having at one stage stretched the gap to over 4 seconds at the front. It was a first win for the 2013 Moto3™ world champion in MotoGP™, and the first win for a Suzuki
Red Sox Notes: Boston Pulls Into First-Place Tie With Blue Jays After Rout Of A’s
The Boston Red Sox demolished the Oakland Athletics on Saturday, and it earned them a share of first place in the American League East. The Toronto Blue Jays lost to the Tampa Bay Rays 7-5 while the Red Sox cruised to their third straight win in an 11-2 drubbing of the A’s. So, at 76-59, the Red Sox and Jays sit dead-even atop the AL East with the Baltimore Orioles knocking on the back door just two games behind. However, the Red Sox don’t want to celebrate just yet. The Major League Baseball schedule typically loads teams up with division games in September, and that’s no different in 2016. The Red Sox —

Lena Dunham Has Controversial Sexual Comments About Odell Beckham Jr.
Share this: A Lena Dunham-Odell Beckham Jr. encounter at the 2016 Met Gala has led to a controversial series of events. The Met Gala happened back in May, but it became a hot-button topic again Friday after Lena Dunham published her latest “Lenny Letter,” which featured an interview with fellow actress Amy Schumer that included a conversation about the event. One of the things Dunham recalled from the gala was sitting next to the New York Giants wide receiver, and this is where things got, well, interesting. “I was sitting next to Odell Beckham Jr., and it was so amazing because it was like he looked at me and he determined I was not the shape of a woman by his standards,” Dunham recalled in her newsletter,
