David Price looked sharp in his return to the mound. After getting scratched from his start Wednesday to undergo testing on his hand (which revealed a mild case of carpal tunnel), Price returned to pitch Saturday in the Boston Red Sox’s 5-2 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays. Celtics Notes: Boston Gets Off To Good Start Following All-Star Break
Time can heal, and it appears to have done that for the Boston Celtics. At least it did on Friday night. The Celtics used a big second quarter and a fourth-quarter surge to create some separation between themselves and the Detroit Pistons, ultimately winning Friday’s game at Little Caesars Arena 110-98.
