Share this: If you don’t follow Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh on Twitter, you need to up your internet game. Harbaugh is as unintentionally funny as they come on social media, especially when he’s drinking milk at a steakhouse. But his best work yet might have come Thursday when he trolled SEC media giant Paul Finebaum — or should we say, “Pete.” We’re not sure what, if anything, led to this hilarious President Donald Trump-esque tweet Thursday, but there is a pretty lengthy list of grievances Harbaugh could have against “The Paul Finebaum Show” host. As SB Nation pointed out, Finebaum has gone after Harbaugh and Michigan multiple times, including for his salary. Biased media. Sad! Red Sox Vs. Rays Lineup: Jackie Bradley Jr. Rests For Series Finale In St. Pete
Share this: It’s Jackie Bradley Jr.’s turn to take a seat Sunday. The Boston Red Sox have been giving their regular starters a breather through their 10-game win streak, and JBJ will be the one resting Sunday against the Tampa Bay Rays. Andrew Benintendi will get his first major league start in center field and bat eighth as a result, while Chris Young remains in left and bats seventh. Eduardo Rodriguez will get the ball for the Red Sox, and he’s coming off a start against the Baltimore Orioles during which he went 6 2/3 innings, giving up just two runs and striking out seven. However, the lefty also is returning to the scene of the crime, as the outing that sent him
Pete Rose Says David Ortiz Isn’t A Hall Of Famer Because Of Hit Total
Most people would agree that David Ortiz is a future Hall of Famer. The Boston Red Sox’s designated hitter is in his 20th and final big league season and is putting up the best numbers of his career. He’s leading the league in doubles, on-base percentage, slugging percentage and OPS. No player has ever led baseball in those categories during their final season. Given his terrific final year, his career numbers are getting better by the day: .286 average, 2,400 hits, 618 doubles, 525 home runs, 1,713 RBIs and a .931 OPS. Hall of Fame worthy, right? Not according to Pete Rose. MLB’s all-time hits leader, now a FOX analyst but still ban...
Boston College Retires Pete Frates’ Number At ALS Awareness Game
Pete Frates’ No. 3 officially was retired by the Boston College baseball program at Pellagrini Diamond at Shea Field on Saturday. Frates, who was diagnosed with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis in 2012, was there as the Eagles honored their former captain and current director of baseball operations. “This is such a huge thing for our family,” Frates’ wife, Julie Frates, told NESN’s Sarah Davis on Saturday. “This is a legacy for Pete and our family. So we couldn’t be more happy and thrilled for him. And at least he’s here to witness it all.” BC came back to win the game against Wake Forest 9-8, and they swept the doubleheader lat...
Pete Carroll Takes Nasty Fall During Tyler Lockett’s Kickoff Return (Video)
Now that’s going to leave a mark. Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll simply was minding his own business during Tyler Lockett’s electrifying 103-yard kickoff return for a touchdown during a preseason game against the Denver Broncos on Friday, but that all changed in an instant. The trailing referee was paying attention to Lockett as he ran down the sideline, which meant he didn’t see Carroll standing right in front of him. What ensued was an epic collision that you have to see for yourself. Ouch. That looked painful. Thumbnail photo via Joe Nicholson/USA TODAY Sports Images ...
