The Chicago White Sox completed a rare feat Wednesday night … for the second time this season. With runners on first and second and no outs in the eighth inning, Chicago turned a 5-4-3 triple play. Incredibly, it was the second time this season Chicago has turned a triple play. It didn’t provide enough spark to come back and defeat the Houston Astros, though, and the Sox fell 5-3. Warriors Survive Spurs, Tie Bulls’ NBA Record With 72nd Win Of Season
SAN ANTONIO — The Golden State Warriors recorded an historic victory in the one place they hadn’t won in nearly two decades. Stephen Curry had 37 points as the Warriors beat the San Antonio Spurs 92-86 on Sunday night for their 72nd win, tying the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls for the NBA single-season record. David Ortiz On Starting Season Strong: When ‘Light Goes On Papi Goes On’
The 2016 season couldn’t have started much better for the Boston Red Sox than it did Tuesday afternoon. So what did the soon-to-be-retired Ortiz say about his strong start to the season afterward? “(When) the light goes on Papi goes on,” Ortiz said on “Red Sox Final.” We couldn’t have said it any better. Report: Greg Hardy’s ‘Constant Tardiness’ Annoyed Teammates By End Of Season
Greg Hardy’s first season with the Dallas Cowboys could ultimately be his last, as his production didn’t necessarily make up for reported issues. Hardy signed a one-year contract with the Cowboys last March, and while he showed signs of being an impact player after serving a four-game suspension to start the year, there were issues both reported and otherwise throughout the season. The Cowboys missed the playoffs, and Hardy is now a free agent, and a SportsDay report lays out a few reasons why the Cowboys might not commit long term to Hardy. According to SportsDay’s Brandon George, Hardy was a “constant headache” for Dallas head coach J...
Pawtucket Red Sox Logos, Uniforms Get New Look For 2015 Season (Photos)
The Pawtucket Red Sox will be looking sharp next season. The Boston Red Sox’s Triple-A affiliate rolled out all new logos and uniforms Friday, and they’re quite different from the ones they used to sport, which essentially mirrored their parent club. The PawSox added some powder blue to the mix of the usual red, navy and white and put an emphasis on the “paw” part of their name. The biggest change probably was to mascot Paws, who got a more realistic — and ferocious — look. Photo of the Night In Greece, a goat invaded a soccer match and tried to play goalkeeper. Tweet

Chelsea's David Luiz has admitted his side's season will be declared a failure unless they pull off a miraculous recovery and win the Premier League title. PA PhotosDavid Luiz says Chelsea players have given it their all this season. • Lythell: Out with a whimper Chelsea need Manchester City and Liverpool to slip up in their final games to give the Blues a chance of getting back into title contention, with Luiz suggesting a season without silverware is unacceptable for the west London club. Luiz was part of the Chelsea starting line-up that lost the Champions League semi-final against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday, with his summation of the campaign pieced together by Jose Mourinho in his first season back at Stamford Bridge leaving
