Patriots’ Patrick Chung Shares Positive Update After Undergoing Surgery

It hasn’t been all partying for one Patriot in the week after New England’s Super Bowl LIII victory. Patrick Chung had some business to take care of following his team’s win over the Los Angeles Rams at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The veteran safety sustained a broken forearm early in the third quarter and was forced to watch the bulk of the second half on the sidelines. Chung, who also will undergo a procedure on his shoulder later this offseason, went through surgery Thursday to repair his forearm. And judging from his latest Instagram post, it sounds like everything went well.

Pedrosa to undergo surgery

Pedrosa notes that "unexpectedly I had a double stress fracture in the right collarbone, just in a gesture of strength. Over the years I have had several fractures in that area and the last time was in three parts, leaving it sclerotic. The middle part does not have enough blood flow, creating osteoporosis, so it requires an effective solution to regenerate the bone and achieve adequate recovery. After undergoing several tests and medical consultations, the clear recommendation is the total recovery and bone health". Source link

The surgery was performed by Dr Matthias Russ, the same doctor who carried out the first operation, and he stated that he was very pleased with how the surgery had gone. Cal has had two small plates inserted and he will be ready to fly home on Sunday night - provided there are no complications, which nobody expects. Once he’s back home he will start physiotherapy and will try his best to be fit again as soon as

Tiger Woods Done? Legendary Golfer Admits He May Never Play Golf Again

This is hard to say, but we might never see Tiger Woods play competitive golf again — and he knows it. Woods, who still is recovering from his fourth back surgery and a battle with prescription drugs, gave an update on his rehab Wednesday ahead of the Presidents Cup in New Jersey where he is a captain’s assistant. “My timetable is based on what my surgeon said,” Woods said CBS Sports. “As I alluded to last week, I’m hitting 60-yard shots.
