Angel Charte, MotoGP™ Medical Director, gave an update on Rabat’s condition: “Tito is sedated, we’ve evacuated him by helicopter. He was hit by the motorbike of another rider. He has a serious injury to the right leg, which affects the femoral area and the tibia and fibula area. There is also a small opening and now we have to do more tests. We are talking about injuries that have to be verified. The next steps are to do a CAT scan to see the extent of the injury, and how to best treat it. Now he’s sedated in hospital. As the hours go by, we will know more.”
